  1. I doubt Dalinar hates Szeth. You don't hate a tool for performing it's function. You hate the bearer of said Tool instead. He even saw how mad Szeth was because of what he had done so I definitely see Dalinar as a military man wanting to use Szeth.
  2. The way Eshonai "died" at the end of WoR and the Parshendi that escaped leads me to believe she may transform back to a non-odium form and help gather the rebels. I hope at least. The Parshendi themselves don't actually seem evil, it's more like they fought a losing war with the humans long ago so they turned to get more power which corrupted them. I can see the humans of today and Parshendi that aren't converted finding some kind of peaceful arrangement to help end the desolations.
  3. I'm slightly confused with the timeline then. Does that mean that Ati wasn't one of the original 16 or did the events of mistborn happen before honor died?
  4. Renarin definitely had a hard childhood. This is a man that can't fight in a society that basically deems you only worthy if you can fight or become a priest of the church. His whole family are strong fighters who helped carve out their current kingdom. He sees himself as worthless and even then continues to try.
  5. What basis have you for saying that precognition is a known trait of Voidbringers? I thought only Vorinsm believes that to see the future is to be of the Voidbringers and from everything we have gathered about the religion it stands to reason that that is rubbish too. Also from what we have seen the location of these spren matter so with Renarin being all the way on the Shattered Plain where we haven't seen any death rattles where as Taravangian is seeing them currently the distance is just too great.
  6. It's more likely she is alive and that Rayse is in fact stuck in some kind of limbo because of the game Honor bond him in. In the letter to Hoid the sender says it might be better to leave Roshar alone because Rayse is stuck there and Honor mentions to Dalinar how Rayse is bound by certain rules that Dalinar must try use if he wants to win. Maybe Honor managed to force Rayse in this situation which left him weakened enough to be killed similiar to what Leras did to trap Ruin but the nature of his shard is different so he may have been able to bound him in some "Rules of Honor" that Rayse has to follow.
  7. Do we even know what the Desolations are? If it's just parshmen wouldn't that mean that after a desolation then the problems are gone since they would have killed all the parshmen? There's someone big we still haven't been told I think.
  8. One of the theories for bondsmith is that they each bonded with one of the major spren(Stormfather/Nightcrawler) so that could make sense. I also wonder what the relationship between Spren and Surgebinders were before the radiants. It's possible that surgebinders were killing spren but the spren didn't know a way of keeping themselves safe while still getting the benefits of the bond and that is what Nohadon managed to accomplish. The stormfather all but confirms he is a spren at the end of WoB too. Much like other spren seem to be the embodiment of ideas he is the "almighty" in a sense. Sprens in general are a bit confusing. They seem to have been around even before Honor was splintered so does that mean only Honospren are from the splintering?
  9. I think we might not have gotten much from the Amaram Radiant because he didn't display anything. It was just a meaningless title so why should there be an outcry. Anyway I foresee people realizing Vorinism is actually a load of rubbish that has done nothing more than limit their society. Just imagine all the people realizing that they can be more than they are right now and it's not predetermined by some God. That's what Kaladin and the Radiants symbolize.
  10. Dalinar at least is a leader and is trying to save the world. Him grieving wouldn't help Navani nor would it bring back Jasnah so it makes sense that he just moves on. As for his sons well to them she was merely a distant cousin that they don't see much, I can imagine they did some off screen grieving but not too much.
  11. Well when you burning stormlight to stay awake/move then you find yourself in safety without stormlight I think the exhaustion would cause the body to sleep regardless of situation.
  12. The wording of that event I think is very important. Shallan says her mother hated her. She didn't say she feared her. Also she said that she is "one of us". If we look at what we know about the Ghostbloods from Teft then if her mother was a Ghostblood it's possible that she was jealous of her for having something that she has tried so hard to achieve. Her father joined the Ghostbloods but didn't mention anything about Shallan. Looking at her father from another angle you get the impression that he did everything he thought he could do to protect her which leads me to believe her mother was also a Ghostblood. What better way to protect your daughter than to join the very organization you are afraid of.
  13. Thing is Vasher isn't really the type of person to do that I think. Not after what happened with Nightblood.
  14. She might have to accept that her brother may not have been the person she thought he was as well.
  15. It feels like Kal killing Shallans brother may rather be a way of her speaking another truth instead of her landing up hating her. She may find out but she knows Kal is all about honour so she'll have to confront the truth about her brother leaving them etc.
  16. Syl is resurrected because Kaladin goes back to his oaths and speaks the words. Adolin wasn't the original person bonded with the spren that became his blade so how could he resurrect a spren he isn't bonded to? Wouldn't he have to form a bond first before he could bring the spren back.
  17. Where is Vivenna then? I thought those two might become more than just Student/Master
  18. What I don't quite understand is that Venli initially wants to be the first one of them to get the new form but if this actually happened I doubt she would have been able to get the rest of them to change as Eshonai would be even more against her. Also when Venli takes on the new form Eshonai notes that she hasn't changed like Eshonai had which could point to her not actually being in that new form.
