Beggar in Black

Warbreaker is definitely my least favorite cosmere novel. I found myself not quite as interested in the characters. That said I loved Lightsong. He had a very interesting story and he was witty. His ending was also very satisfying. As for everyone who voted for Alloy of Law and the shorts I respectfully disagree. I love westerns and while the shorts were . . . short. They were interesting and well done.

I am one of said members/ mostly lurker. And I really have to agree with the others. Knowing the plot will somewhat spoil the book. But they are still an amazing read. You really should try out the other two sometime. As for you having a tight budget, do you have local public library? Though if you tried Mistborn and didn't like parts of it maybe you should just keep reading the Stormlight Archive. It is pretty amazing and Brandon Sanderson has improved as a writer. You have to remember that the first Mistborn book was only his second published novel. And while i really really enjoyed it he is a better writer now. And hopefully will continue to become even better. . . somehow.

If only they would actually read books...

Try having almost no one to talk to about it. I go out and tell all my friends about how awesome and complex it is. Not to mention all the theories. And they just wait for me to move on or make a vague comment on how it's WAY too big. So I can talk all I want. It's just nobody cares. And my copy doesn't get shipped for a while so it's one of the only things I'm talking about right now.
