  1. Not going to happen, Brandon has said that Earth doesn't exist in the cosmere.
  2. WoB is that there exists a planet where humans have no innante investiture so it seems unlikely that it is the spark of life. Though it could be tied up with peoples life so Nightblood would kill everyone except the no investiture people. Which also seems to indicate that if Nightblood only drains investiture it wouldn't effect drabs and might even be able to turn people from planets other than Nalthis into drabs.
  3. All that tells us is that when Vasher runs out of breath Nightblood will kill him, which to me seems likely to be through draining his divine breath which is what's keeping him alive. Maybe I'm wrong but I always read the people killing themselves as being because Nightblood saw them as evil not because they ran out of breath.
  4. I've wondered about this for a while, we know Vasher will die if he is wielding Nightblood and runs out of breaths but this seems likely to be because it would then drain his divine breath removing the thing keeping him alive. Do we have WoB on what effect Nightblood would have on someone who isn't returned? Would it kill them or simply leave them drab?
  5. Well IIRC, in the Liar of Partinel chapters that are available Hoid tells a story about a rabbit and wolf though due to the circumstances he does have to explain what they are to the listener.
  6. Do we have any idea when the day of recreance occured? The wiki only lists it as happening prior to the Heirocracy. I'm asking because in Eshonai's interludes she refers at least twice to the time when The Listners escaped Odium as "centuries ago" given the last desolation was 4500 it seems unlikely that was when The Last Legion broke free. The only major event I can think of that could have happened centuries ago is The Recreance so I'm wondering if there is a connection there, I can maybe see the KR doing what they did if it offered an entire race a chance at freedom, hell some orders like the windrunners could be looking at a conflict of oaths either way. Of course everyone is talking about the Recreance as happening shortly after the final desolation which would screw with this theory quite a lot. So I'm wondering if I missed something.
  7. Ninjad, this was my initial thought but then I wondered if it could go one step further. Both the compassion and the intelligence were his gift. Together they could be used to save his kingdom the curse could then be that he can only have one of them at a time.
