  1. 2. They do not know how to make perfect gemstones by TLM 3. They do not know how to Elsecall from planet to planet, OR from the Cognitive realm to the physical If we are to assume that they learn this, shouldn’t the Scadrians also get some similar scientific breakthrough? (They almost have the technology to make spikes without killing their victim already, could be useful) Steel ferrings with leecher-grenades probably should kill most KR. Only a few KR have plate, and a KR without Stormlight die easily. (Most soldiers with a gun and a Leecher-grenade could probably kill a KR)
  2. I voted Awakening, but I would have chosen Hemalurgy if mye spikes granted me all the magical powers in the Cosmere, not just those on Scadrial. I think I have read a WoB that it's possible, but I can't find it, so it might have been my imagination.....
  3. Neither of those has been followed by the Alethi for the last centuries, at least. Even Dalinar admitted that Sadeas' betrayal was "the Alethi thing to do". Who knows if what Amaram did would be considered a crime among Lighteyes... I don't think Amarams past mistakes will matter much to Dalinar, if he helps with the troubles ahead. (But I've been wrong before)
  4. I think Kaladin will need to let go of his hatred towards Amaram, as part of his growth as a leader. I think his hatred is partly a selfdefence mechanism, something that overshadows his guilt at leading his squad to their deaths. The guilt was too much to deal with for Kaladin, so he buried it in hatred for Amaram, and lighteyes in general. Understandable, but not very constructive (or honorable). Kaladin the Racist must die, so that Kaladin the Radiant can live. He must learn not to let grief, hatred, or guilt, distract him from doing his job. Amaram will be the one that "teaches" Kaladin this lesson, I think. I can't wait to see how it will happen (or not, if I'm wrong) This is why I don't have any negative feelings towards Amaram. I certainly don't think of him as a bad person. IMHO we haven't seen any bad people yet. Not even Sadeas is bad. Dalinar explains his actions to Elkohar as; "A very Alethi thing to do". I look forward to the bad guys showing up..
