  1. So, a few questions. @Chaos Once upon a time you said you'd consider adding some of the emoticons I had made here or here. Now that the forum has been updated, is that still something that could happen? Would I need to make HD versions to go along with them? I know that the vanilla version of the current IPS has HD emotes, but if the emotes haven't been upgraded, that wouldn't be a thing. Also, the one new emote is , which is mapped to :$. It'd be neat if that could be added, at the very least. The other question more relates to everyone else. I think it'd be nice to have :/ get replaced with (currently ;unsure;), :| with (currently ;mellow;) and XD with (currently ;lol;). I know I use :/, :|, and XD a fair amount, and never use 'unsure' 'mellow' or 'lol' to get them replaced with the emote. What are people's thoughts on those changes? Do people use the mellow/lol/unsure things? For reference, the new defaults for the vanilla boards are: Edit: Probably the main emotes that I've made that I think'd be cool to have built in would be these 4:
  2. @Araris Valerian I assume that plenty of time has passed for what you had to say? Or does the server down time not count?
  3. Looks awesome! I made a thing while I was waiting: And the new reply notification is awesome. Oooh. And the 'page' button is the horizontal rule!
  4. Here's a post that explains it all!
  5. I assume that looks right?
  6. So it was basically camp out the front Soon Hmmm, so can you change your display name at all or is this the end of Ookla season?
  7. I'd prefer that the second vote went unused than it go to either an eliminator or someone who votes with little reason behind it.
  8. Huzzah! Woo! I need to make an emote to commemorate this!
  9. I'm curious, did we ever doublecheck that Elodin was a dreamwalker? I'm sorta divided on Mail. I have been leaning towards Mail being village, but I think that my trust could hinge on if Mail's claims about his wolfbrother targetting Elodin could be verified.
  10. @Gamma, would it be noted if two wolf brothers attacked the same person? Edit: Wait, our Mayor just died, right? Thinking I'm going to vote TheOnlyNyali for mayor. Think they're main person I trust to be village right now.
  11. Closer to the start, I had suggested that 4 eliminators and Fain having 3 conversions seemed reasonable for 25 players. iirc, Seonid agreed with me though... I'm going to check what happened last game. Edit: So details of the last game: 4 eliminators: Forsaken, Channeler, Viewer, Regular Fain had 3 conversions. No warders or Ta'veren were in the game. Roles: Aiel-Blooded: 1 Dreamwalker: 2 Viewer: 2 Forsaken: 1 Villager: 12 Channeler: 2 Thief-Tracker: 1 Whitecloak: 1 Wisdom: 1 Wolfsister: 1 So far, it looks like the available roles are quite different. 2 wolfbrothers, the existence of ta'veren and warders, and the possibility of there being 3 dreamwalkers. So I'm not sure how useful those numbers will be to us...
  12. Yah Got exams coming up in just over a week, and so I really don't have the time to study properly and properly keep up with the game, especially going forward. I'll need to double check, but I think you have me for all of cycle 4, but then it'll be Aonar from cycle 5. Something like that, anyway.
  13. Heh. Darkfriend Channeller with 2 village warders. So I'm thinking the DF channeller will die 2 cycles after Wilson died. So, they're alive for one more cycle... Edit: Although... If it was a DF channeller, DF's killing Wilson was committing Seppuku. But then killing Straw isn't a very village action. Of course, we could well have a village channeller who had 2 warders, and the eliminator channeller is still around. :/
  14. If there's a DF channeller dying, that'd be darkfriend #4. Surely there'd be at most one more, right? And well done Wolfbrother. Hmm: So Gamma, if a Warder dies protecting their Channeler, does the Channeler die after two rounds?
  15. *Goes loads up demos of IP.board and CKEditor* Looks like the new IP.board has a new emote (embarrassed) and has remapped a number of emotes. As in instead of ;huh; to get , it uses o.O instead. The others seem to be: ;mellow; -> :| ;lol; -> XD ;blink; -> O.o < _< -> ¬¬ Apart from that last one, which I have no idea how to create that character, I prefer those mappings. Will they be changed in our version? And will we be getting the new emote? And the editor looks like it has buttons for superscript, subscript, spoiler, indenting, and removing formatting, but they're not on by default for the demo. So that's good to know. And you had decided against using editor plugins, hadn't you?
  16. I don't know the answer to that question @Chaos: Have you just stuck with the default editor that comes with the newer version? Or have you added bits to it - the default thing doesn't appear to have spoilers, horizontal rules or remove formatting options.
  17. It's a matter of the default text editor has been changed to a different type since our current version of IP.Board. I believe there are mods/plugins for the editor which could reintroduce the editor, but that sorta thing requires configuration and testing and such like, which would only make the update take longer to arrive. But hey, you'll be able to do callouts, so that people get notifications when they're mentioned in a post!
  18. I thought the BBCode got stored as HTML anyway. So while you'll be able to compose a post with BBcode, you won't be able to edit the BBcode when editing the post afterwards?
  19. Isn't the plain text editor going away?
  20. The Only Joe trolled everyone in LG14 by making all the lifeless commanders village - the village went and lynched them all. I think Joe was very happy with himself. (If you wanted another example, that is) Edit: (Maybe I should refresh the page before posting...)
  21. Quick Links: Player List: Bah. I assume Phat didn't get any useful scans then? Before I go again, just thoughts say, @Elb: That post from day 1 of mine you linked to? I don't think you've seen him much, particularly not over here, but that was grumpy!Hael.
