  1. Usually (where I am anyway), you can't actually build snowmen because the snow isn't warm enough. It has to be closer to 0 degrees and it doesn't get that warm until April. So people build ice sculptures instead. They are cooler anyway.
  2. I don't have a problem with snow, its the cold. (No I didn't, tell me?)
  3. Well...I usually stay inside anyway.
  4. I don't think people here do. XD They just go on once they think its safe.
  5. You may remember the letter that was found in WoK. That was Hoid to someone on Yolen (the origin of humans in the Cosmere, and his homeworld), who is a Dragon. The hint was "You old reptile" if you remember. The letter in WoR was the reply to that.
  6. Elend, because I relate to him a lot. I read at social situations, and have trouble leading. He goes through some truly excellent growth, and he inspires me. Also, he is awesome.
  7. OK...I would definitely travel my hovering above a car burning Steel. Because it'd be fun. But I think, in my life, Feruchemy would be more useful. But being a Mistborn would be so storming fun!
  8. Its the coldest I've seen. It was in Celcius though, not sure what you use in Austrailia, but its around -76 F.
  9. I would agree its gross, if you didn't just heal it. If only the world were so simple that you get injected with someone's powers, then swallow a lump of gold and BAM, instant healing. Its worth the 'sharing of needles', IMO. I guess that people would need to give written permission for this, but it all depends on whether or not you can reuse spikes. If you can't it gets a tad expensive, but worth the cost, especially if you have a Gold Compounder who is willing to be impaled every few hours. If he can heal back his powers. New problem though. Now we need a Trueself (Feruchemical aluminum) to be spiked... but you could just heal it back with that compounded spike, so nevermind. If only Miles was not evil... EDIT: I realize we've kind of hijacked your thread, Highprince. Do you want me to start a new one, or do you not mind? It is kind of related...
  10. It can if it piles up in front of your door. And trust me. -60 degrees is not fun.
  11. His Feruchemy is the reason he know's what's going to happen right? Probably a combination of Determination, Fortune, and mental speed or something like that.
  12. Not in Canada. In December, it gets so cold that there's like 4 metres of ice.
  13. It would probably be reused, because whatever infections you get, you would be able to heal. The only downside I see to this is someone who is too sick to drain healing into it. They would need some pewter compounding as well.
  14. Are we 100% WoB positive that Hemalurgy is based off Ruin? It could be that he just "helped" with Allomancy, (hence the Atium) and Hemalurgy is a thing that any Shardworld can have. EDIT: And the only reason he took over the Spiked...things, is because he wasn't as Invested and therefore stronger than Preservation. Which is why Harmony now can do that, as well.
  15. Could an aluminum savant rid themselves of spikes?
  16. Hmmmm. If aluminum savants can rid themselves of impurity, would chromium savants be able to do the same to other people? Because that would be an awesome doctor. Just had some awesome ideas for jury rigging! If you gave something a breath, could you spike powers onto it?
  17. Its because Sanderfans are classy people.
  18. Welcome, if you haven't already, you should get around to reading Elantris and Warbreaker. (Warbreaker makes certain things is WoR very awesome)
  19. that would be cool. that could be a thing in hospitals, giving a Feruchemical gold and Allomantic gold, to get you to heal. but then they would have to kill a person to get it... (or leave them partially soulless.) *Don't ask Swimmingly, it gets scary...* EDIT: What Hemalurgic Metal could steal allomantic gold? (I looked on the Coppermind)
  20. And look at the cool image we have that everyone only Featherblades can use!
  21. Yup, we were working on it. And thanks, guys.
  22. Alas, I do not have the software required. Wait! Would Paint work?
