  1. I'm sorry Dyring but I just can't understand your logic in regards to your suspicions of me in your last post. You claim that I didn't follow Peng in voting for Eddy was because the majority wasn't. I didn't vote because as stated Peng didn't give a reason. And as stated when Peng did give his reason, I did as I said I would and voted with him. You also stated that I only voted for Eddy because the majority had at that stage voted for eddy as well. At the time I voted, Eddy's vote had not only hadn't increased but actually had lost a vote. Feel free to point out what I missed but for some reason I just can't see what you were suspicious about.
  2. While I disagree with Pengs suspicious seven theory, he has nonetheless shown that he is working from some intel instead of the ever popular 'blind stab in the dark and see who yelps' theory. Therefore as Peng has given a semi-valid reason as requested, I shall vote for Eddy. I also have a minor problem with Pengs rioter trial. Allowing him/her to riot someone as prove of unspikeness has very little chance of working as the inquisitor may be able to do the rioting for them. As for 'uber-tin', I don't think they would have that ability as it would require Meta to directly interfere with the game, which I seriously doubt he would do as it could compromise any future games he held. After all if you can't trust the GM, who can you trust.
  3. Once again our beloved Mistborn points his finger saying someone needs to die and once again he fails to give a reason why. Until he gives a valid reason I cannot, in good conscience vote along with him. Since a deadlock is out of the question, I shall hold my vote until I hear Pengs reason for ordering Eddy's death, even if its by PM.
  4. Since Peng claims not to have slipped and told anyone about Lucy being a seeker, I see only three possibilities. One: Inquisitor is extremely lucky. (I don't think that's the case) Two: Inquisitor has multi-seeking (Sorry Dyring, I know you disagree with me but after last night cycle we need to take another look at this. Besides being able to seek 2-3 people during the day isn't overpowered for a 1 vs 28 game.) Three: Peng sent his list to one of the spikes. The only thing I can think of is that Peng tells us one of the names he sent the list to and we lynch them. Edit: spelling
  5. First off, saying that 'he won't have two bronze powers' is a MAJOR assumption. Secondly, I was not trying to divert suspicion away from me. I was trying to get people to open their minds to the idea that making assumptions about the inquisitors abilities is not the way to go about finding them. If you suspect me, good, your supposed to The ONLY one not suspect is Peng, everyone else is. Personally, I think those that voted 'no kill' during day 2 cycle are more likely to be the inquisitor.
  6. Dyring, the inquisitor gave up his coppercloud piercing ability. For all we know he has a multi-seeking one as well. The flaw in your argument was that the inquisitor could only sooth or thug during the day. We have NO idea what they have, so claiming as you did is faulty and raises suspicion on yourself for trying to downplay the inquisitors powers..
  7. If I may point out a flaw in your reasoning Dyring. Meta told us that the inquistior has access to ALL their powers. Now I'm not sure but I believe that means the inquisitor isn't as limited as you claim. I think that the inquisitor can seek during the day if they choose to, it's the only way I see for how they found a lucher on the first night, either that or they were extremely luckly.
  8. Windrunner is left off the list of inactives. Poor Windy, always being forgotten. Peng has plenty of time to decide who (if any) should be given his list. Even if he's killed during this night cycle, (which I don't see happening) he has until the night ends to send any PMs out. That!s at least 40 hours away. Personally I think the inquisitor used his lurching spike on someone and left the coinshot ability to rot. He is very exposed at moment. Having a lucher protecting him makes more sense to me.
  9. Ok, we have a snapped. If they would be so kind and PM Peng their role, he can go through his list and find those that claimed the same ability. That should give us a 75% chance of finding the new spiked. Assuming that the newly snapped got the same ability that was just taken that is.
  10. It should've ended 50 minutes ago, but will most likely end as soon as Meta shows up. Then he can go though this maze and find who voted for who. I also hoped no one would die, which is why I set Quillion up as target. Killing a NPC would have been a good way to buy more time. Unfortuntly Meta threw a monkey wrench into my plans. Now a deadlock is the best we can hope for.
  11. Hate to point another mistake out Aether, but you haven't retracted your 'no kill' vote yet. You also haven't voted for Shimble officially.
  12. Since our mistborn still hasn't explained his choice to kill Wes. I hear by change my vote to Shimble in the hope of creating a deadlock allowing more time before we are forced to kill someone. Unfortunately the rioter/soothers will make that hard to do.
  13. Sorry Aether but the title of List Master goes to Little Wilson. You made three strikes. Gamon somehow voted for Wes and didn't vote. And you cut out Dyring and Windy. (poor windy, left off the list again) and Shimble retraced his vote but new vote wasn't entered (just kidding Aether. You've had a busy day so its understandable if any mistakes are made)
  14. After reading Meta's other forum, (which btw looked insane) the idea of using items sounded great. Only came up with one so far but its a dooze. Lerasium beads. For every 10 players (rounded up) there is one bead hiding somewhere in the area. Anyone can search for it but only at night and it costs one action. Once found the bead can be eaten, traded, kept or destroyed. Only unsnapped/regular villagers can eat the bead. If eaten the GM rolls whatever they roll and gives the eater a new role. Currently only the 9 established misting roles can be chosen (including mistborn) plus the role of Atium misting. Atium misting can only be given by lerasium bead. Atium mistings can follow a target and learn what happens. e.g misting follows player X. X luches Y, Y is attacked by Z, Z is killed by C. At end of night all players involved are named but only X's role is given to misting. Due to the lack of atium, (overpowerment) atium misting can only use this abitily once every 2/3 nights If someone is killed while holding a bead, the bead is given to the killer. Should mob rule be the cause of death then the bead is randomly given to one of the ones who voted for the poor soul. The odds of finding a bead I leave for the GM to decide. It is meant to be a mid-game changer / random element. Also as a way for those that didn't get a role from not having anything to do during the night cycle. As well as giving a choice of actions for everyone to do. Any problems/ideas on if this would work. Edit: underlined new text Extreme afterthought: GM doesn't say how many beads are hidden only that there are rumors of a shady character dropping something as they passed through. GM does however inform players when all beads are found.
  15. Ok, it's 2:30am here so it might just be my sleep addled brain. But a nasty thought crossed my mind. Meta you stated that the inquisitior has access to ALL their powers each cycle. Does that mean that they can coinshot/seek someone during the day as well as night? Edit: spelling and grammar.
  16. As for trying to convince anyone. I'm not going to do that. I don't believe in mob rule, everyone is just going to have to make up their own mind
  17. I chose Quillion as I saw it as something close to a 'no kill' vote. Quillion being a simple proxy seemed a good target. No one would die and Meta gets his kill. Unfortunately Meta decided that a vote for Quillion was a vote for Ollivier. (We have a very bloodthirsty GM)
  18. @kirk Sorry for late response, was at work when posted and only just got home to answer. I not voting along side Peng because he has nothing to go on. Peng himself said that targeting Wes was his best guess. Until someone can provide proof that killing Wes is a good idea my vote remains unchanged. @quiver Sorry. was hoping that a vote for proxy would only mean a fun but worthless death. didn't know Meta was going to lump both chars together.
  19. Thanks awesome, my computer is now covered in coffee. That is one creepy cat. Meta wants us to kill someone. Modeft wants a bloodbath. No one has any real proof of anything. To that end, I say we lynch someone who's made an appearance but not actually a player. Let us throw Meta our own curveball and vote Quillion , Ollivier's proxy. @kurk, Peng has cast his vote. He voted for Wes
  20. I see three messages. Peng killing Lam. Distrust blood and Death wants vengeance To me, it looks like we have three tineyes. Edit. Might be four. Blood we thirst 'fore we die. Could be another.
  21. "RUIN TAKE YOU MODEFT!" Vron yelled. Another bottle sailing across the room to lie shattered among the remnants of its brethren. "Seven bottles of water and I still can't find anything out of the ordinary." Despite several hours of furious work, Vron was no closer to finding an antidote than he was to finding the fabled cache of atium. So great was his rage that he almost missed hearing the floorboard outside his room creak as someone stepped on it. "So, he has come for me has he, well I'll not go down easy. I have a few tricks up my sleeve." Grabbing a couple of glass orbs from his nightstand, Vron moved to the side and waited for the door to open. A few seconds passed then a piece of paper slid under the door. Letting out a sigh of relief Vron listened to the sound of footsteps slowly recede down the hall. After replacing the glass orbs, he picked up the note and scanned its contents. "They want WHAT? NOW? In the middle of the night? Don't they know they need to drop their messages in early." he exclaimed. "Oh well, a delivery is a delivery even if it's not one I normally make." Gathering up what he needed, Vron donned his cloak and set out into the mists. As he rounded a corner a thought suddenly struck him. "That's it. I know how to cure the poison. All I have to do is dose myself with a stronger one and then drink the antidote. As long as its potent enough it should override Modefts poison. Hmm, I'm going to need a few things first. Aspren should be able to acquire what I'm after." With that happy thought, Vron set off the deliver his package with a spring in his step. I agree. Shiv's eastern slang is a blast to read. I enjoy trying to work out what he's saying and then see how close I am with his spoilers. Also I think Shiv is right. We need more inter-character interaction. This game will be a lot more fun if we try and play off each others stories. Even if we do it wrong it might still be worth a good laugh or two. Having never done anything like this before, I might be wrong. Anyone else think we could give this a go?
  22. "Poison me will he. I don't think so!" Vron spluttered. Storming over to the bar, he grabbed several empty wine bottles and filled them with the laced water. Raising his gaze to the rafters Vron yelled "You're going to have to do better than this Modeft. You can't kill an alchemist with a slow poison. I'll have a cure before the nights out." Slamming the door open he proceeded to his room to begin his analysis of the water and its delaying effect. Great write up Meta.
  23. Another question Meta. What happens if two lurches lurch at the same time? Does the lurched get ripped in half or does it cancel each other out allowing the coinshot to kill their target?
  24. The inquisitors spiking powers greatly intrigue me. I wonder what happens if they spike two coinshots together. Can the new spiked coinshot kill two people a night or only one? What about thugs, can they survive a double powered coinshot? A smoker/seeker would be a good combo too. So many questions, so few to experiment upon. I am not the inquisitor. Just voicing some thoughts I would have as an alchemist Please don't lynch me tomorrow Edit: spelling
