Round Nine: The Enviable Eight Al Vron here folks, reporting from a near silent arena. Everyone is breathlessly waiting for the action to erupt. Figgldygraks return seems to have cowed the remaining contestants. That Dow was on fire. He lasted longer than anyone thought he would. Of course now he really is on fire, literally. Todd Smith has taken his own life rather than give the satisfaction of killing him to the mob. A move that may well force everyone to question just who they are. With just eight competitors remaining it shouldn’t be long until a champion is crowned. Will there be just the one champion or shall a group emerge victorious? Round Eight: Double Trouble This is Al Vron bringing you all the action live from this packed arena. We are down to the final ten contenders and everyone is on their feet cheering for their team to win. The Rithmatics were dealt a major blow last round when three of them were taken out in one swoop, but they still have their die-hard fans cheering them on. Woah! Is that who I think it is? It is! And if the noise is any indicator then the crowd is loving this surprise. I can’t wait to see the chaos this will cause. It just goes to show that you can’t count anyone out of this game. They all want the victory. Round eight is brought to you by Lazarus and Frankenstein Pharmacy. If you're sick or worse, we’ll get you back on your feet; one way or another. Looks like Cleo and Kae are surrounded. They put up a brave and bold fight but one little mistake has spelled disaster for the deadly duo. But wait, the mob is opening up. The dastardly duo are making a break for it, they’ve cleared the mob and have made it to an underground parking structure. The mob is close behind but what’s this? The mob isn’t following the Disaster Duo into the building. They must think that it will collapse soon. Understandable given how many other buildings have fallen, but are they really going to let Cleo and Kae escape? Don’t worry though fans. We here at SGC are dedicated to bringing you all the action as it happens. We’ll just switch some cameras to infrared and send them after the fleeing fiends. There they are. Looks like they aren't alone either. Did the others catch up to them? They couldn’t have. Yep, I’m right, the mob is still milling around out front. Looks like Keira is trying to whip them into a frenzy. So who is with the retreating rascals? Lets flip on a couple of spotlights and see. Turn them off! Turn them off! I apologise Sennti fans. In all my years of commentating I have never seen a sight as gruesome as that. Who could have done something like that?! What manner of evil inhabits those that could mutilate with such ease?! It appears we shall soon find out. They are heading for the entrance way. Looks like the screams were enough to drive away most of the mob. Only Keira is still there, pacing back and forth, waiting for those that stole her kill to show themselves. And here they are. Wait! I know them. Yes, that’s Ratel coming out first; a cultist from Sel who ritualistically sacrifices his victims for some obscure purpose. Alv is next; a devilishly cunning soldier from Roshar who wields a halberd in one hand with ease. NaVorl follows; a mysterious fellow who is a master of disguise. No one is sure where he comes from but it is believed to be Scadrial. Second of the Sky is fourth from the tunnel. A master of ambushing his prey and was trained by Hoid before striking out on his own. And finally Ron Lav. The rookie of the group. Most rumours are that Ron Lav is nothing more than a fable used to frighten children who don’t clean up after themselves but going by the blood on those butcher knives, it appears that this fairy tale has some truth to it. Keira is still there, looking very pale but refusing to retreat. Ratel is handing something to Keira. Alv has pulled something from his pocket. There is a brief flash of light and they’re gone; leaving a bemused Keira holding the heads of Cleo and Kae. Beware! A player has returned from the grave. They must post this cycle or be killed. Round Seven: Turning Point “Looks like we’ve passed the halfway point. That’s right fans, 16 contestants have fallen leaving just 13 to fight for the title. Al Vron here bringing you all the latest action live from the arena. Tammy Kingswright is a smart gal. Hiding in the shadows and only exposing herself when the reward outweighs the risk. Now that’s the sign of a veterian. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tammy go all the way to the final group. What’s this? Someone just snuck up behind Tammy and stabbed her with a length of rebar pinning her to the ground. Tammy seems to be reaching for something but whatever it is, it won’t save her from that slab of concrete that was just dropped on her head crushing the skull like a ripe avramelon. And speaking of avramelons. Round seven is brought to you by the good people of Stall 16. Stall 16, the best place to buy the freshest fruit from around the Cosmere and beyond. There goes Lu. It just goes to show that you can’t let yourself relax for even a moment ‘cause if you do, Bam, you’re dead. Figgldygrak is surrounded. No matter which way he turns someone is there to take a swing at him. The crowd is cheering their approval of the impending death of Grak and Grak is roaring back almost drowning everyone else out. Figgldygrak may be the biggest on the block but size means very little when dealing with the numbers that he is facing now. Even an axehound can fall to a lizard-crab-thing under the right circumstances. One lucky blow is all it will take. And that club blow to the knee will do it. Looks like Grak is the latest victim to fall to mob rule. Round Six: Mind over Matter “Al Vron here folks bringing you all the action live from the arena. Fafa and Restless have become the latest victims of the building collapse phenomenon that has killed many others before him. How many more buildings shall fall and will anyone else be caught in the crush? Bortholemew has fallen. Literally. He fell off a building, or rather he was pushed. Who pushed him and why? What possible motive could there be for pushing someone off a six story building? Especially one that could collapse at anytime. Round Six is brought to you by Imperial Rememberers, if you need something old remember Imperial Rememberers.” Newan is reeling. After gathering support to attack someone he deemed a threat, it seemed everything was going as planned until some of his allies turned on him. Now they are stringing him up in the middle of what remains of the city park. Round Six has begun. Vote Tally: Newan: 6 Wilson: 3 3 items in the lottery this time. Secret Item: Void Sphere: This item allow the holder to enter a void space which protects from all actions and votes for the cycle it is used on. Hemalurgicly Charged Spike: This spike contains one charge of Allomantic Pewter allowing the one it’s impaled in to survive one attack or lynching. Reviver: This handy device can bring back one player from Deaths Door. In order for this device to work the player targeted must have died during the prior cycle. Any longer than that and they would’ve passed through to the other side. Round Five: Chaos Reigns (Or Does It?) "Al Vron here folks, reporting (almost) live from the arena. Chaos has erupted within the ruins. With numbers dwindling and allies falling, some of the survivors band together putting aside their petty rivalry and differences only to fall apart at the first hurdle. While others seem to have completely given up. A brave few are still hanging in there, trying to create order from the chaos. The Shard. A strange name for a strange person from a strange world dies a strange death. I don't think anyone saw that coming. I mean who would've seen Shard being trampled to death by everyone as they rush to kill Ank. Speaking of Ank, after miraculously surviving the beating that the mob gave him, dear Ank stumbled his way into what remains of the hospital only to have it collapse on him. At this rate I am honestly surprised that anyone is still willing to enter any building. Buildings supplied by Cog and Sprocket Inc. Cog and Sprocket, for all your dilapidated building needs. Naran has fallen. After managing to evade attention for most of the match it looks like Naran let down his guard at just the wrong time. But don't you worry arena fans. Aora and Finn will be well taken care of, assuming that they survive. The Seenti Gaming Corporation have already received numerous calls about adopting the pair should the unfortunate happen. Frankly I am surprised that they haven't been killed, cooked and eaten already. But hey, I'm more of a whitespine person myself. Now that's just cruel. Killing someone I can understand but to parade around displaying Samhains head for all to see is really taking it too far. But the fans sure seem to love it and who am I to disagree with the fans. Question. What's to stop the fool from reshuffling the roles on the first day cycle? That would effectively remove the cult from the game. Maybe have it so that the fool has to wait at least three cycles before being able to use their ability.

Round Four: Silent but Deadly “It’s quiet in the ruins tonight but I’m sure that’s all about to change. Al Vron here folks bringing you the latest play by play. Tragedy struck again today when yet another building collapsed burying Ash beneath several tons of rubble. In this type of match you really need to keep an eye on your surroundings. I mean look at Eol, engaged in a duel against one competitor only to have another one come from out of nowhere and take him out. Round Four is brought to you by Prince Rikers Dartmoors latest book. Alcatraz Smedry and the Twine of Fate. In stores now. Look at Pandamonium go. He dodges left, he dodges right, he leaps and barely evades the blow. Shame, he was one of the fans favorites. It seems a group have cornered the Honorable Sir Maestro Dr. Brightlord Seixa and are prepared to kill. I’m sure Seixa isn't one to go quietly and it appears I’m right. He’s putting up a brave fight, at one point it even seemed like he was going to take one or two of them down with him but alas the numbers were too great for him to overcome. Not only have we seen some of the contestants start working together only to break apart. We also had a building collapse burying Keldre earlier today. Is he still alive? Will anyone help him? Can they help him? Who will be next? Looks like the action hasn’t finished yet fans. It appears that Joe is under attack. No matter how he weaves his pursuer is right behind him. Ooh! Joe is down. He should’ve zigged when he zagged. And there goes Atreides Agamemnon! That’s a shame but sometimes that tap on your back is the last thing you feel. The arena is packed with fans all cheering for their chosen combatants. There have been some clashes between groups of rival fans but so far security has kept things from boiling over. There has been some controversy as well when both Gerald and Cheez-it took a dive before the contest had even begun. A piece of advice from an old veteran: If you’re going to throw the match, then you could at least wait until the game starts.
