  1. Just a question. Could Kal do what TALN does at the end of WOR: Snatching Darts out of the air? Is this a Heraldic power, something related to Stonewards, or something that Kal could do while infused?
  2. The Honorblade could be with someone in Kholinar and Taln is truly mad. Or Odium has planted someone to act like they are a Herald and even made them to think he is a Herald.
  3. We are making a big assumption about Taln and his blade. We are all assuming that the man that made his way to the Shattered Plains in WOR is the same man as the one who came to Kholinar at the end of WOK.
  4. I think the Oathpact + Herald + Honorblade = Mega BadThis post has been reported for attempting to skirt the rulesry
  5. Hello, This is more of a hypothesis really, but here goes. It has always struck me as somewhat incongruous that (SPOILER) an Honorblade empowered Szeth cannot compared to a Nahel Bonded Kaladin. Why is this? Welp. What makes Kaladin so much better at handling Stormlight? It is his bond with Syl. And we see his ability to handle Stormlight grow with each new ideal he speaks. Each ideal is an oath, and each oath given increases his ability to efficiently hold Stormlight. We also know that the Nahel bond and spren bonding with men is a form of imitation of the Heralds and their Honorblades and was not necessarily expected by Tanavast. So why is Kaladin so much better at holding Stormlight than Szeth with the honorblade?... It is because Szeth is not bound by the Oathpact. My hypothesis is that Heralds bound by the Oathpact in conjunction with their Honorblade can hold and use Stormlight on a massive level. We've already seen(SPOILER) Taln's extreme reflexes and ability when he saved Amaram at the end of WOR. I suspect if he hever becomes sane again that he will be able to use Stormlight at a massive level.
  6. The Listeners in Stormform perhaps? This book is going to be awesome.
  7. Just my two cents, and it echos what others have said. But I think it is more important to really own and internalize the ideals. Saying the words is not enough.
