    Personally, I think that Nale is in denial about it starting. He's going to keep trying to kill the KR even when Voidbringers are bearing down on them all.

    I think Nale just has a twisted, insane warping of Cause-and-Effect: He's thinking that the Radiants cause desolations, not the other way around. Basically, he's hoping that if he kills all the Radiants, the Final Desolation won't occur.

    Ugh. I remember all the hype and anticipation I had for WoR. THIS BOOK IS GOING TO BE SO GOOD! Actually, I think the hype might be a bit less this time since there's less of a gap between books.

    I would say Elantris first because it's his first book and also the weakest, in my opinion. (Though still pretty good.) That way you can save the best for last instead of being disappointed by comparison.

    Ooh, I hadn't thought about the spearhead, but a full lashing to the spear might do the trick. Alternatively, Kal could have an obsidian speartip. That's not very likely, though. How much force would it take to break off a metal speartip?

    Kaladin vs. Wax and Wayne; who would win? Assume that Kaladin has a pouch of infused spheres and has sworn two oaths. Let's say that he only has a regular spear, no Shardblades. Syl is still there, but she can't turn into a Blade. Wax and Wayne have a reasonable, but finite, amount of bullets and metals and Feruchemy stores. The way I see it, Kaladin has more power, but he'll run out of Stormlight before W&W run out of metals if he does anything other than keep it in for strength. Feel free to tweak the rules a bit if you feel like it! I'm most interested in your thoughts and speculation!

    Same. I literally read the book in 4 hours, so I probably missed a few details. That being said, I still love being a speed-reader!

    Remember the earrings that the followers of Harmony put in when they pray? I'm pretty sure that it has a slight Hemalurgic charge that allows Harmony to communicate with them. Wax has his earring, so the question is, was he wearing his Hemalurgic earring when he saw Bloody Tan? Perhaps someone is hijacking Harmony's Earrings and making Wax see things like Ruin did to Vin.

    Ari: I don't think that Elhokar's spren are voidbinders, necessarily; I think they may just be an anti-KR faction of spren. And Maxal, I disagree about Elhokar being only concerned about his image. Yes, he cares too much about public opinion, but, to quote Kaladin, he really is trying to be a good king. He's just bad at it. I don't think there's a contradiction between the two. I think that he has the opportunity to become a Radiant. He's nowhere near it yet. But if he changes for the better (and I think he can), he definately will be.
