    The lopen has always envisioned his hand there. Like when he says the missing hand is making a rude gesture. This makes me think it has to do with healing by stormlight. But, it could be that healing old wounds has to do with regrowth.

    Shoot good points, i thought I had figured out why she broke at such a young age. I still like the idea of all of the secret societies making a play for her allegiance.

    When Shallans mom tries to kill her when she is still a child, can we assume that hermother is an envisinger and that her mothers friend is part of the cult as well. So, her dad is a ghostblood, her mom and envisinger and her brother may be diagram. It wouldnt surprise me if tarivangin makes a play for her loyalty as well.
