I recently reread The Alloy of Law and noticed something that felt off about the timeline.
At some point near the end of the book, the narrator states that less than a day and a half passed between the Vanisher attack at the wedding and the capture of Miles. But when I think about everything that happens in between (the investigation of the abandoned hideout, the interrogation, the bomb, the train fight, and more) it feels like it should be significantly longer than that.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is thiis a continuity error, or am I missing something that explains the compressed timeline?
