(Copied from my school project) In Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, the dragon’s home is threatened by humans, so Firedrake (a dragon) and Sorrel (a brownie/woodland spirit) are sent to find the rim of heaven (a mythical safe place for dragons). Along the way, they meet a human orphan named Ben and a professer of all “fantastic” creatures named professer Greenbloom. They must find the rim of heaven and save the dragons, all while being hunted by a giant dragon named Nettlebrand, who has been searching for them for hundreds of years.

Random question: Has anyone ever misread a book title? For instance, when I first was searching for Tress of the Emerald Sea (my first Brandon Sanderson book), I misread it as Trees of the Emerald Sea and couldn’t find it for a week until I went back and checked the title and realized “I should read stuff more carefully”.

I only know Tress of the Emerald Sea so I guess I choose that one. Tress, Charlie (in human form), Spensa, & the illusion Epic (I forget the name). (I know it’s only 4 characters but I read all of them last year and my memory is not good, so I don’t remember any others that sounded cool to meet with.

I think some parts would be cool, while others I would not enjoy. Living while surrounded by tiny parasitic things that could kill me sounds cool in theory, but I don’t think it would be very cool when you see your friends and family dragged down into the depths. I probably wouldn’t be reborn just because I would have no food, no money, and basically no way of surviving.

Ok. I’m not going to question that.

Thanks for the welcome. I am not sure what a “Cosmere character” is. If I were an Epic, I would want some sort of illusion/invisibility powers. I am really interested in slight of hand and think it would be cool to just make something “disappear” and reappear at will. This one No promises
