Just an fyi, for future reference for everyone else who’s seemed to miss why I voted Coder, I have explained this on page 2-3 of meta cycle one if you’d like to see there. First off, I didn’t want to vote Coder, I ended up voting him because when I was awake there weren’t any other options. Well, Araris was voting me but Hoid got mad when I joined that. Anyways, an exe was better than no exe and we didn’t really have any other options at the time(I was asleep when people started voting Hoid) I had to vote because otherwise we wouldn’t have had the 3 votes needed(this was before Mippo joined the vote) I was vote number 3 and there were only 4 of us talking with Araris voting me. I didn’t want to exe Coder, I believe I straight up said we’d just be confirming him village, but it was that or no exe and I chose to vote Coder

Okay. Yeah, it was moved off of me to Hoid. I am a little confused because why me. First Striker was moved(which may or may not have prevented me from going out, depending on whether Striker’s the lurker or not) and either Cad or Araris’s vote was not counted. So… huh, there’s not a role that could do that… even with Striker’s vote being moved I should have 2 I don’t Remember Cad voting me(I’ll go check, oh I see I confused him with striker) but this is weird, I just checked the rules and there’s not a role that makes someone’s vote not count, it just moves it, like we saw with striker. I’m very confused. That said, if this was the meta Elims, I think that means you should flip me in the meta game(since that has the least amount of consequences for dying) Obviously I don’t want to die here, but ya know, it’s just me edit: I think I misunderstood something else I think. I really need to reread what happened. Gimme a sec I’ll be back and hopefully more coherent edit 2: oh, I see, I once again confused Cad with Striker. Striker voted Hoid and Cad voted me and then a vote was moved from me to Hoid Oh, okay. That does mean half my above post is essentially wrong though. I am not in the mindset right now, wow

Anyway, another thing to note is that Striker’s vote was moved off of Hoid

I feel like it’s not. Assuming the coinshot is meta Elim that means they are going to snipe another pseudo Elim tonight, I feel like that’s very much a now problem

Okay. @|TJ| sorry, I was asleep. I didn’t have anything against Coder, if you look at the thread, I was trying to get us off of him. But an exe is better than no exe, so I had my vote on him. Also: I told you so everyone Time to react to this cycle now. Fallen dying just means they’re going after inactive people as to not share any information. So all we can really take from that is in the future be suspicious of any inactive person who isn’t dying(assuming the game lasts that long for it to come up)

I would be fine with that actually. I’m looking at the vote spreadsheet/psuedo d1 thread and I’m not liking how he kind of just echoes Striker His first two votes are just a repeat of strikers(striker did his first I checked)

Okay. After checking the rules and doing some stuff in my GM PM. I have decided that it is in my best interests to get voted out in the Meta-game. Also side effect of making yall not vote Coder. Why you ask? Because then I can do all sorts of super shady stuff in the pseudo game and it’ll be fun because I’ll be confirmed Village so you can’t vote me out for it. And then if I get NKed it confirms a Meta Elim coinshot or Elim. Coder Myst C’mon yall we’re 2/3 there already

So that we have an exe? We need at least 3 votes in order to exe someone. And exing someone is preferable to exing no one right now. As I said, if there is an alternative train to Coder I will join that instead. But since you are voting me instead of Coder, that means for now I have to jump in to make it viable. My reasons for not wanting to vote Coder are that I don’t want to exe the same person twice back to back this early. Considering you don’t seem to agree with that, my only other option is to attack the argument itself Unfortunately I can’t argue with “the best we have”. It’s either that or a shot in the dark(I’m sure Araris would be fine exeing me though) Edit: unironically, I think I might be fine with that

If I wanted to I could just ask Xino (if he replies, I’ve already asked him if he told anyone he was a coinshot, including in Elim doc, as that would narrow down the suspects and he hasn’t gotten back to me)

So: 1. Lying =/= elim 2. Elim =/= lying In this case I’d say yes, if he is lying then he is Elim, a NK kill is big enough for that. But, if your argument revolves around saying that “if he lied though, then he’s Elim” when you don’t know he lied… that’s not really a good argument. (Briefly going to my potential argument against striker) It depends on whether or not Hoid is Pseudo Elim. If Hoid tells me he is Psuedo Elim, I’m not going to exe Hoid because “If he’s Elim he has motivation to lie”

Fair enough edit: that said, that’s all Coder’s done too(unless he’s lying about not killing Xino)

My main problem with exing Coder is basically that we’ve already exed them in one game, doing both back to back d1 seems really mean. As I said, I would be fine exing him in a future cycle, just not these first two, I’d like to give him time to defend himself, and figure out what in the world is going on. I plan on doing the same thing to the people we exe Psuedo day 2, giving them till D3, and after that I figure they’ve had enough time and I’m fine with exing someone in the pseudo game and then again in the meta game right after. Id like to avoid it for now As for your actual argument, just one question, but other than that it’s convincing. I do not like the idea of exing him right after exing him in the pseudo game. Why Coder and not Xino? The only difference between the two is that Coder could’ve killed Xino and Xino couldn’t have killed Coder and their pseudo game alingments. I think that’s all I have for now.
