I feel like if we did that it’d be basically just perfume. Edit: there’s nothing wrong with perfume, but eating it? Also, I’m trying to see what crazy things you can do with lightweaving, and while soulcasting is nice, this wouldn’t nearly as cool as using light weaving. We could always just soulcasting air into chips, assuming we understand chips at a molecular level

Yeah, Jace will swallow the ones that are.
-
Jace stares at the place where the sunlight spores fell, shocked. He looks to see if any of the spores are salvageable, and if they are he swallows them. Edit:

You’d still need the sensory equipment for it, but making x-ray goggles is a lot easier than hauling around an mri/x-ray machine Edit: Also, sorry @TheFlatScadrian every time I post, you always get there slightly ahead of me, so I’m unable to quote you without double posting. Taste might be a problem, I’m not sure how to do that without actually soulcasting, which is what we’re trying to avoid.

The advertising for that would be hilarious. “Lightweaver’s popcorn - It’s not really there”

I’ve never made caramel with a microwave, but it probably could work, same with anything you could cook, so… they could probably make pies. Also, like, just replace MRI’s anything we can do with it, they can do better with a lot more versatility

Jace rips off a piece of his shirt and tries to block the blood, he doesn’t want any of it getting on the spores

Wind and Truth spoilers!!! So I was talking to @TheFlatScadrianand we talked about how Lightweavers can affect more than visible light. The conversation is in this: What’d yall think? Because I want to see a Lightweaver walk out of a nuclear reactor explosion perfectly fine.

Yeah, or, ya know, curing cancer is also a possibility. If they can mutate your cells into getting cancer, they can mutate them into not having it. Im going to make a topic for this

Yeah, rn, they definitely don’t have access to to any of this, but WaT And if they can do that.. sound seems possible to me.

Using the crimson and Verdent spores, he’s going to first use some verdant spores to make a straight-ish vine, then he’s going to use a few crimson to make a sharp point. Then, he’s going to add a bit more water to the verdant vine, so that one end warps itself over part of the crimson spike Basically, he’s got himself a semi-defendable location and is currently making throwing spears/daggers depending on how long each part is

So I found these, which to me indicates that it’s possible Thoughts? We may be getting Lightweavers as nuclear scientists

Beyond that, you could nuke them and they’d be mostly fine, if they can survive the heat wave and constantly Lightweave. Imagine the statement that would be, nuking the building you’re in, and walking out completely unscathed. I really hope this is how it works. I’m gonna go and search on Arcanum

The mental image is amazing. Microwaves would be completely obsolete, just get your local Lightweaver to do it, and you’ll have perfectly cooked popcorn every time

I’m pretty sure Lightweavers/Truthwatchers could fool both IR and UV Vision or whatever, since all that is is just invisible light, so there’s not reason Lightweavers can’t manipulate that, it’s all just light, after all. We just normally wouldn’t know that since Roshar hasn’t discovered UV/IR yet. So while that discovery period would be rough, after that it’d be good. What I’m really interested in is whether this means Lightweavers/Truthwatchers could mess with radio waves and such, as they could mess with communication, create false orders, and theoretically, walk into a nuclear bomb and mess with the gamma rays. As far as I know, we don’t have a wavelength or frequency limit on what they’re able to manipulate/change so this is possible

Okay… he’s still going to mostly block one side, as it makes it a little easier to control. I assume he doesn’t have any tools for this, so he’ll probably end up with just an unnatural lump of roseite blocking some of one side. How much of crimson and verdant does he have?
-
Okay, Jace is going to attempt to guard the middle. He’s trying to use some roseite spores make some walls.
-
He holds them close, his breathing slowing. And he goes back to pick up the supplies he dropped. how many people are at the center right now? Or at least, how many can my person see?
-
Jace frantically runs towards the center, scooping up bags and pouches, throwing the contents out at other contestants in his search for sunlight spores

Granted, instead they will be inclusive and do it to every, including you, except for the minimum wage workers. When you aren’t doing your shift, then they start. I wish for a bottle of dehydrated air. -

*gasp* Time traveler! it’s still November here, you must be from the future… have we solved any world problems yet? Nice topic name though.
