Yeah, I get that. I see and consistently talk with like 6 people, a few more pop up randomly to interact with. That’s because I stick to specific parts of the Community forums mostly, along with posting on my profile

It went well! 95 (which is the highest I could get, my teacher doesn’t give 100s) I’m personally really happy with the way it turned out

Making a list of all the silly little characters I’ve created (so I can kinda clean up everyone and make sure they make sense) and I’m at the crossroads of if I should add “Ryn”
Cause she’s technically a character - a characterized version of the self I present on the Shard for GDRP - and I have a concept idea of what said version would look like
But, is that too self-inserty?

Ryn bounds over to Ink, pulling out a pair of white headphones with Windrunner stickers on the side and across the brim. She holds them up in a ‘want them?’ gesture, before dramatically asking, “Am I not sensible enough for you?”

“Told you,” Ryn pulls out a clipboard, paper, and pen “Now, about your plans for mutant advocacy,” she says as she clicks the pen a few times

We just visited my great-grandparents graves and I have been reminded how terrible my extended family is
No one had been taken care of their graves, and the only memorial flowers there were old and basically thrown on the graves
Makes me so mad, especially considering everything my great-grandmother did for them
Idk, kinda soured my mood. My parents and I did go to get flowers to put there, so that was kinda nice

Yeah, they barely even qualify as family anymore in my eyes, I barely see them anyway
They didn’t. We didn’t tell anyone we were going to see her. It’s just, there are family members who live and hour and a half away, her own children even, and they have literally done nothing to take care of the site

Ryn, after retrieving her bandages, walks back over to Kyo and his banshee ”What’re you gonna name it?” she asks

“All good. As long as you drag me to a place I’m familiar, I’m fine.” Ryn looks at the banshee encased in plate, “be careful with that,” she says before walking towards Ink Ryn takes the box, “thanks. You could’ve kept it, though. I just like to have some on me, just in case.”

Not gonna do a crazy long new years post
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who put up with my random (possibly over enthusiastic) posts/chatting this year. I think this year has been subpar for everyone, so thanks for sticking with me through my 3 months of figuring out what is going on, then not shutting up. The Shard and everyone on it was a big pick-me-up during the depths of my winter depression and finals anxiety. I owe most every active member at least a bit of thanks for that.
As for tagging/specific shoutouts:
The cool ones know who they are
All members of the hat clan deserve their recognition from their supreme leader (I’m not tagging everyone, there’s like 30 of us)
Oh, @Treamayne thank you so so much for all your help with my research paper debacle. Don’t know where I (or my grade) would be without your expertise. I owe you, and I cannot thank you enough

In Korean, they say: Saehaebok Mahni badushipshiyeo (새해 복 많이 받으세요) for Happy New Year - but the literal translation that I prefer is: May you receive many New Year's blessings. -
