    Dalinar noticed that while he was in a vision, he experienced more time than the Physical Realm. Between visions, he experienced practically no time. Odium locked Gavinor in visions wherein he witnessed Dalinar's worst again and again, so Gavinor was stuck experiencing years while hours passed for Navani. Odium didn't change the way the Spiritual Realm worked, but he did heavily guide and manipulate Gavinor's experiences.
