  1. *sigh* You know, if you want me to read it, you need to tell me more about it. 'Omniscient Reader's View' isn't enough.
  2. The increased density may break whatever is carrying it, so you'll need to be careful with this. But, these are some cool ideas.
  3. I know Investiture is cooler than magic, but this is for magic. My character used to have Invested Arts, so you might be able to get away with that. I can't remember if I told you what Investiture is, I was going to tell you about Realmatics after ES, but for now, Investiture is the thing that powers all the cool stuff in the Cosmere. Metallic Arts are a subset of the Invested Arts, which include the several different things you see in Elantris. Things like Preservation's mist and the Dor are all Investiture. By the way, the Dor is the combination of Dominion and Devotion's corpses.
  4. Down in Australia... I blame all those Northern Hemisphere mapmakers from several centuries ago that decided to make their side of the world up.
  5. They said that the spheres were too shaken up to retain Stormlight, so you use boxings instead.
  6. Name: Vireed Species: Human Class: Mage Magic Item (you get one based off your backstory.): Hmm... can I bring Nohadon's TWoK? It's magical Appearance: Short and Alethi I guess Connections with other characters: Backstory (I WANT AT LEAST THREE SENTENCES PREFERABLY MORE): This character was who Dalinar was replacing in his first vision. He was close to Nohadon and became a worldhopper, bringing with him a copy of TWoK. He arrived on whatever fantasy planet this is, because the demon king's fifth cousin thrice removed angered him greatly. Kingdom (make something up, we're in a place vaguely German. Give it a little description): Alethkar. Skills: Worldhopping, though Vireed knows that whatever magic this place has removed his Investiture-based powers and replaced them with that of a mage. Magical Quirks: Was once highly Invested.
  7. ... Yeah just about everything has the power to kill you. We have the deadliest snakes and spiders, though not where I live.
  8. We're going with white dwarf. I'm going to assume that the white dwarf has no surviving planets. The G-Class, however... I'm going to roll for dominant gas giants first, so your Jupiters and Saturns. Between 0 and 3... rolled a 2. I'm going to say between 0.3 and 13 Jupiter masses is what makes a gas giant and to be a dominant one it has to be at least 0.2 Jupiters. So... I'm going to first roll for either sub or super jupiter... sub... and 0.8 Jupiters is the first dominant gas giant. Next gas giant has 12 Jupiter masses. Alright so I'm slowly building this star system. A 0.8 Jupiter mass gas giant and a 12 Jupiter mass one. Eventually, I'll roll for minor gas giants, terrestrial planets, major dwarf planets, etc. Also the distance between the two stars will be important. @Dragonheir, what's this system's name?
  9. I have finally become an Allomancer! I am still misting being a crew leader though... I just hope I'm not a gnat.
  10. @Doomslug the Arcane, by continuing to post here, you acknowledge that you must abandon the stick within the domains of this thread. The stick may not be fire, but that is not a reason to bring it here. Violations of this will result in... I don't know actually but please keep the Stick out.
  11. I don't play. But @LordHathsin_Surviv0r.
  12. Hmm... so for @Dragonheir's system A-type star-turned-Red Giant, 1.74 Suns in mass, 2.711 billion years old. G-type star, 0.95 Suns in mass, 5.441 billion years old. I'm going to roll for original planets first, and see which get swallowed by the Red Giant. Hmm... I just opened up Artifexian's WorldSmith 5.00 and... it says that the main sequence lifespan of the A-Star is 1.898 billion years. Which means there's a good chance that it's already a white dwarf, but I'm yet to find a calculator that says how long a star stays in the giant phase. However, the Sun will be a Red Giant for about a billion years, and this star has been a giant for 0.802 billion years. So, what do you all think? Should this star be a White Dwarf?
  13. What is a cent??? I only know boxings and clips. This too, what happened to diamond chips?
  14. 2nd Ideal time I will judge antagonists by their role in the plot
  15. Another binary system. F-Class Star, mass 1.1 Suns, 0.218 billion years old. Brown Dwarf (a failed star, basically), mass 78 Jupiters or 0.078 Suns, age unimportant. It is probably massive enough for Lithium fusion. I need ideas for how to roll planets.
