  1. Starseeker contemplated what had happened yesterday. The death of Worldrow and Seth. Two innocents. Life before Death, the Skybreakers had said. Strength before Weakness, Journey before Destination. The Immortal Words. "Journey before Destination," he whispered. He watched Uranihran Lash himself into the air, glowing with Radiance. His contact at the perpendiculatiry had told him that there once were Ten Orders of Knights Radiant, who protected this world. Now, it was down to only one that operated in secret. He would need another Breath in 5 days. He either had to somehow find one, or become Radiant before then. He would become better, perfect himself to speak the Words and become a Skybreaker. And that meant finding these Evildoers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Not much, but I haven't checked the rest of my Shard notifications today and need to get on with that.
  2. Alright thanks. I'll vote now, then. I voted Iced last cycle. I also backed Iced this cycle, before I realised that he didn't make all that much sense. I feel like Iced voting for you and then switching is him trying to distance from you... Well, Richard @IcedOutPenguin
  3. Yes... Cool then. Hmm... Would you mind telling us what exactly you've read? Have you read all of Mistborn? Are you like halfway through Oathbringer?
  4. Hoid, Hoid, Hoid. Almost everyone invites Hoid. It's just like in the books. He, I think, would arrive late and leave early without a trace. And not to mention insult everyone while he's there. Although, he is on mostly good terms with everyone here... so maybe not. I always like to see Sazed, Shai and Vasher, they're underrated in my opinion, and can't argue with Kaladin. As for Lift... well, she is an interesting choice. Don't know if she'd mesh well with the others here.
  5. I'd say both. I want to know who'd really invite, if it were possible, but am also not against some laughter.
  6. Welcome to the Shard! If you could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party, who would you invite?
  7. Alright, I think this makes sense. If Hoid was an elim trying to save a teammate, they wouldn't be that obvious about it. Of course, it may just be that they are elims and are relying on us believing this so we think that they aren't. But I don't think so. So either he is a villager who really wanted Iced to live as he claims, or is taking blame off Doc and saving Aeter. Or Hoid is an elim trying to frame Doc and Aeter. OR Hoid could be saving both Iced and Aeter. Which I think is unlikely, I feel like the elims would've done something earlier if that was the case. Which could be the elims doing that intentionally so that I thought it unlikely that they did. It's - and I'm quoting Dune - wheels within wheels within wheels within wheels. Starseeker felt that it was too uncertain to vote yet.
  8. I'm tempted... Should I vote Iced? Yeah I'm voting Iced. Richard @IcedOutPenguin

  10. CD did do the same thing in the Threnodite game though... he voted for himself at some point. I am posting nothing substantial because I too do not like D1s. I take them as RP opportunities. I have about 20 minutes left until I have to leave for school, so anything said after that I most likely will not be able to respond to until after rollover.
  11. Genetically engineered crem? Crem is not something you genetically engineer Or eat
  12. Starseeker sighed, looking out over the still Purelake. Just one more incomprehensible thing on this Colours-cursed planet. Even weeks after leaving Nalthis, he still was not used to not being able to rely on his priests to do everything for him. Looking at the people around him, he noticed that he appeared to be the only Nalthian. Not a big surprise, with how much work it takes to get permission to leave the planet. These people were... quite strange. Most were harder to feel with Life Sense, as if none of them had Breath, but they still could be detected, so they weren't entirely like Drabs. Except Greebas for some reason, who was completely invisible to his Sense. Another exception was Skybreaker Uranihan, who was far easier to detect, and Starseeker could tell that he had the First Heightening. Of course, that was absurd, as non-Nalthians did not have Breath. This was the key he was looking for. A source of power that was not Breath. Something that could keep him alive. The power of Radiance.
