I don't know, it just felt like he read a couple of pop psychology books and was very excited to tell us about it, just like RoW felt like he read a couple of pop science books and was super excited to tell us all about how he knows how science works and the way scientists think, all the while falling flat on his face. And all of this compounded with the fact that his writing is completely inadequate for handling any sort of subtlety.

I doubt Brandon has given this the level of thought you guys are giving it, by the looks of it he is just not interested/knowledgeable enough in linguistics for his fictional names to be anything beyond a grab bag of made up words roughly inspired by some real world languages. I am highly skeptical he has thought of a consistent transliteration/romanization, let alone a phonological system or a historical language family evolution. ETA: Look at this clip where he is basically claiming Korean is a conlang because he is confusing the language itself with the Hangul writing system. I think this just proves that any attempt to decipher the languages of Roshar or the cosmere in general is pointless because there is nothing to decipher
