...I fail to see why you would abandon ship this far in, especially with the biggest (and coolest) moments coming up extremely soon. It cannot be a journey if it doesn't have a beginning. I mean this wholeheartedly - please finish Oathbringer if you wish to continue Stormlight (Especially with how RoW is perceived). It is still to this day among one of my top endings of all time.

Alas no, though I was given a weird looking gemstone a couple days ago Unfortunately, my nerdome remains incomplete and I am here to learn more as I believe I'm not fully versed in it yet.

This Herald, of course, being Kaladin. I had this discussion with someone a few days ago, so I'll summarize it here; Jezrien dies, Kaladin replaces him. Stormfather dies, many believe Syl is replacing him as the Honor-Sliver Godspren, as that Honor outside of Retribution had to go somewhere. Now; my questions begin. Kaladin would now hold a Nahel Bond with Syl, the new Godspren, what does this do to him? He's a Windrunner of the highest capacity, so this couldn't simply make him a Bondsmith, right? This is where my thoughts split- either his bond having the nature of a Bondsmith, and his Honorblade giving him the Windrunner abilities, or him being a Windrunner with a Bondsmith-Natured Surge of Adhesion. Just wanted to hear other people's thoughts on this (Or be informed of any misconceptions I have with how these things work)

I've joined after stalking the forums for a good month or so (Would've joined earlier, Storming public wifi and all the people that might've gotten it IP banned), I've been a huge Cosmere nerd for a whole elongated like... 8 months since being introduced to it. Currently have read; All of Era 1 + Secret History, All of Stormlight (Including novellas), Warbreaker, Emperor's soul, Sixth of Dusk, Shadows for Silence, and half-read-but-DNFed Elantris. Currently (About to) start Era 2 As of current, my favorite characters are (full stop) Dalinar and Sazed (Can't wait to see how Wayne works his way in there when I start Era 2, I've heard good things) Massive nerd on the Investiture-side of things, joined primarily to talk and share thoughts on that front, though talking about character isn't out of the question.
