A Thread of All My Favorite Arcanum Bits I've been reading the Arcanum A lot lately and making a little treasure trove of my favorite parts hee hee. Happy to share them with y'all! Feel free to post your own in the replies! Elantris was my first Sanderson Book, looking back I'm glad I started there because it's one of his weakest Books as it was so early into his writing career. Getting to see his development as a writer as I read more of his work was so satisfying and absolutely got me hooked. I can now easily say Brandon Sanderson IS my favorite author (probably wouldn't be here if he wasn't haha) Although I'm glad I started with Elantris, when I'm trying to get other people into the Cosmere I usually recommend Warbreaker or Mistborn depending on who I'm talking to and what they usually like to read. Very rarely I will recommend someone start out with Way of Kings, I only give that rec to people who I think can easily handle an in depth chunky series like Stormlight.

Ink Spren and/or Anger Spren! I love the descriptions of both of them, every time Anger Spren are mentioned I get a very clear visual of them in my mind! Thanks This is a tough question bc I've taken the official test 4 different times throughout the past 2 years and have gotten 4 different answers. Willshaper, Elsecaller, Lightweaver, and most recently (which genuinely shocked me) Windrunner I most identify with the Willshapers though, the light Spren call to me, and their philosophy is one I very much so believe in! Also to have armor made out of joyspren sounds delightful and so me. Their surges as well are very appealing to me.

Is Quoting how you directly reply to someone? I've read all of the Cosmere except The Lost Metal, I'm currently reading Wind and Truth, then Moving onto TLM. I haven't read any of his non-cosmere stuff yet, but I plan on doing so starting with the Alcatraz series once I'm caught up on the Cosmere (Also thanks hee hee)

Hello All! I'm new here, but I've been consuming Sanderson Media for a couple years now. I'm not super familiar with how forums such as these work but I'm a quick learner so I should pick it up in no time! I'm a Creative who resides in the Midwest USA, I have an addiction to buying too many books (more than I can read honestly ), and I'm a huge nerd who easily hyperfixates on anything that draws me in (such as the Cosmere). I love meeting new people and making new friends! Can't wait to explore 17th shard Editing at the recommendation of an experienced User to add that I've read all the books of the Cosmere except The Lost Metal and WaT (currently reading Wind and Truth tho). I will be reading The Lost Metal once I finish Wind and Truth (I wanted to read it before WaT but I didn't have time to before the new book was Released )
