I love it when the squishes (or plushes depending on who you ask) (squishes are the name for platonic crushes which sounds kinda weird, but it's like a crush vs a squish which i think is stupid but i mean society) turn out to work. None of mine have been going well T^T
And the worst part is trying to explain it to someone (which I don't) cause I can't just say 'I have an intense yearning to be your friend' 'so you have a crush on me?' 'no Im aromantic and normal people can have squishes too' 'what???'

1. A (Serial?) Murderer/Supervillian is haunted by his best friend, and first victim. (Some sort of ghost/magic)
2. A superhero disappeared a long time ago, and [normal person] just moved into their new apartment. But this room looks a little smaller than advertised... Hidden in the walls are the superhero's hidden suit and equipment, along with a cryptic message... [normal person] has to find out what happened to them, and maybe just save the city while their at it.
Or just maybe...
10 years ago, the city was at peace. 10 years ago, [Superhero] protected us. 10 years ago, [Superhero] disappeared. The city was left in a constant state of suspense since then. But just as people were beginning to settle in to the peace... [Bad Guy] had just finished his most recent murder. House on fire, body in pieces. He had been ruling the city ever since that idiot superhero left. But there is just one problem....
"Hey!" That was [Name], [Bad Guy]'s best friend. Or at least he was. Before [Bad Guy] killed him. And now? [Name] just wouldn't leave him alone.
