  1. Happy birthday!

Thanks for being in charge of our insanity!

  2. Cool, thanks! Hear that guys? The immortal mods from on high claim to be normal people.
  3. BEHOLD MY GREATEST CREATION!! A SKELETON MADE OF COOKIES!!! A wire frame of Tanavastium for strong support as a true-body, and covered with different types of delicious cookies!! Baked in the invested sunlight of Canticle, it is a master piece!!! Ok guys, and important question: Is it ok to send a happy birthday message to Chaos He who Shall Not be Named, out of appreciation for being the guy in charge of supervising all our insanity. Cause while I really appreciate his efforts, I'm scared of him.
  4. Thank you. I really need those hugs right now. Thanks. It helps to see and example and know for sure I'm not the only one who values my sibling relationships enough for it to hurt, and to try and repair it. Many people at my church have bad relationships with their siblings, and just leave it alone. I'm glad that there are other people that don't. I will mention that my sister's husband was absolutely fine with the touching. I checked years ago because I didn't want to make him uncomfortable at all. I'm also glad to know that you've seen other people with that relationship. I hope that you're right about collage. I am still scared that it will only make things worse, but I will still try. I do read the Bible, I was actually reading the story of Joseph a few days ago, and since I choose verses to memorize each week, chose that passage in Genesis 50, cause it felt like something I needed to remember right now. Thank you for the book recommendations, I'll look into them. Thank you for the advice. You did not make me mad. I don't get angry at people for giving me honest advice that I asked for, no matter if I like it or not. And I think your advice was good. It was certainly kinder, while feeling more honest, than a lot of other people's irl has been. Thank you. Thanks. *hugs* I am trying to do new things: I started a D&D group with people from my youth group, and found a few online classes I'd like to take. And I've been talking here on the shard more so I don't isolate myself.
  5. "Hmm. I'll leave it, and find out as I go. I know that I am Authored, cause that's how things work where I'm from." He turned garnet-red eyes from the stars back to Sequence. "Actually, is it possible to get back to where you came from here? Are most of these people native to the Thread? What can you tell me!?" He sipped his tea again.
  6. "Is it not normal for people to know about their authors here?" Ryver thought for a second. "Actually, can you tell me of my author brought me here intentionally, and if they're evil or not? I don't need to know more than that."
  7. Yes!! It is the enigmatic shard Valor, the only shard other than Cultivation known to be held by a dragon.
  8. I think it's cause they call on many things "else" they seek to reach new potential, and so grow to the next "else" that is out there. And they seem like they would like have that complex of an explanation. What about willshapers, who seem to want to bring freedom of will to people?
  9. Close but no! Hint 6: Edgli was rather defensive of this character.
  10. That's beautiful. I like it! "I'm sorry.was it taboo of me to make the spoon? I'm sorry. I didn't want to impose on you." He perked up eagerly at 's words. "So you're one of the narrators that Blurred told me about? You could help me find out who my author is? I want to know if it's the same one as my world. I can tell you about my world if that would help?"
  11. "My apologies. I simply didn't want to interrupt you, Blurred." He turned back to Sequence, "is there anything you need of my Madam Sequence? Blurred and Jack brought me here, but you seem to be in charge, so I assume they wish me to speak to you." @Sequence
  12. Hey guys, are we allowed to send happy birthday messages to mods?
  13. Ryver squinted up at the sky. "That... should work. Thank you." He sat back and whispered to himself while doodling a spoon with that pen on his arm. A joke seemed appropriate, as this seemed to be a party. "A man is having soup in a restaurant and drops his spoon. He calls for the waiter, who immediately produces a new spoon from his pocket. The man is impressed and asks, "How did you know I would drop my spoon?" The waiter replies, "An efficiency expert figured out that the most dropped utensil is a spoon, so we all carry extras". The man then notices a string hanging from the waiter's zipper and asks, "What's that for?" The waiter explains, "That's another efficiency measure. The expert figured out that washing our hands takes up too much time. So we pull the string to go to the bathroom". The man asks, "But how do you put it back without touching it?" The waiter leans in and whispers, "I don't know about the other guys, but I use the spoon." As he finished, a spoon appeared out of the drawing and he stirred his tea. And looked over at expectantly. @Hawks
  14. *surrenders* OK you win. However, greatswords are nimble and lithe. This is someone using some of the heavier greatswords out there. Each at least 2 times the weight of Nightblood. He is new, and practicing. I have been doing it for 4 years now, and it is really fun, because everyone, everyone, assumed they are slower than other swords, when in reality, they are barely slower than most longswords.
  15. *in the time it takes you to kip-up, I have already swung back to the high arc.*
  16. *as soon as you start to drop I drop the tip of my sword through the arc and start sweeping low and high as well, hitting you as you try to slide in.*
  17. Hey guys. I have a little bit of a rant. Please note that the shard auto corrects the four letter word to storm whenever it is typed. I would ask that you read it as such. Sorry. @Tam Tucker, I feel your advice about this might be helpful.
  18. *having been smacked in the head and blocked, I will be a tad dazed, and so will take a large round step back and do a full sweep around with the blade, using standard greatsword sweeping arcs to keep you at bay while I gather my senses again*
  19. Now that would work! The question now is whether or not the backstroke of the sword still blows through your guard and hits you even though I got hit in the head. Cause swords are fast, but well made ones like Nightblood are also incredibly hard hitting. cause while Nightblood, being a shardblade weighs only about 3 lbs. (and a regular greatsword would come in at about 6) it's got most of my body weight accelerating along the tip towards that tambo. And the sheath will make it so that it's less likely to bounce rather than dent.
  20. Not Aona. Hint 5: This character is a dragon
  21. I think you underestimate how fast I can move a sword. I've never met someone who can dart in that fast without also having to block the sword from coming back in fast enough. *gets smacked while extolling the speed of swords.*
  22. *having a full 5 feet with which to wait while you approach, I pull back and block, then slide down the tambos and smacks your fingers.*
  23. Ah! Tambo, now that is something that reverse grip can be used for. *swings for your hip*
  24. Not much. Just a bit of stabbing. *blocks kick and starts half-swording*
