    Ok, first of all, his parents, whether or not they support his decision or choices they are still his parents and shouldn't kick him out. That's storming awful. Second, good on your parents for offering him a place to stay. That's awesome. Love that.

    Oh yeah that rule still applies. But that you can use revivify on. At double negative max hp, I'm saying they have to go on a quest to get true resurrection.

    So, 2/3 of my party are casters from a magic school. They are very used to how magic works. So when they couldn't see her cast, she just looked at them and stuff happened, it terrified them. On top of that, you can't counterspell a subtle spell casting, because there is no apparent casting action to see coming to react too. So yeah, they all had to make saves at disadvantage, but the terror on their faces when I just looked at them and said, "She looks at all of you. Wisdom saves. Disadvantage." Was pricless. Bit of Homebrew we are trying: if you reach negative double your max hp, you die and can only be brought back by true resurrection. And they are level 5, so they can't get that yet. So she had like 31 HP, and I rolled a lot of ones, and she got hit for a total of 91, so -60, which is 2 HP from long term death. The party got creative, so I allowed them to use mending to repair the dust into a body, then cast revivify.

    Step down is fine, and I'm fine with a less pointy point. Yeah, the guard is made out of the Windrunner glyph, with the bottom of the glyph merging into the hilt.

    Kayo gets back about two days later, looking worse for wear. "Ok, you win that one. Spar you again after I sleep? Its been a long two days."

    Kyo sighed, embarrassed, and lashed himself back toward the city. and ran out of light about 2/3 of the way there and started running the rest in plate.

    Kyo hit something that seemed to crack and shatter in front of him. He immediately started lashing himself back in increments to slow down, until he felt he could open his eyes again. He looked back and realized that he was still moving far too fast and had over shot Kansas by a lot. [500 damn miles.] He couldn't even see the city [?] that the bar was in. Skye laughed at him.

    [I think --and this is just a thought-- that with Plate to brace me and fifth ideal investiture holding capability, that I should be able to just make it. Hence why I sucked in so much stormlight. But I am also only holding this speed for about 0.5 of a second, and then will have to spend the next 4 seconds or so slowing down. I will happily retcon and do something else if you want. :} ]

    [would you be fast enough though? 7.9 million mph and accelerating? Could any human dodge that without a conflux of investiture to slow time? If you were a steel runner or slider, it could happen. but idk about raw reflexes. This also means that I cannot change my course of action and will likely run out of Light before the fight is done and not know where I am when I stop, or how long it will take to heal.]

    [I don't think Lightweavers can transport their physical bodies into Shadesmare, just their mind? What Shallan did was a manifestation of her consciousness while her body stayed in the PR. Could ask @al_lan_mandragoran to elsegate you through though? happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.]

    Knight... You he's on the run a bit. I wouldn't normally suggest this, but maybe more speed? Hell yeah! Kyo pushed a Bubble of adhesion out around him to make a vacuum, negating air resistance. Then just piled the lashings on, feeling his blood vessels burst over and over and his bones start to crack under 100 lashings. [100 Earth Gs of acceleration, 2, 194 mph/s, 7, 898, 400 miles per hour] To stab Kansas. [I love physics. :3]

    Kyo sucked in more light and shut his eyes. Skye! Tell me what's going on out there. I can't use my eyes for the next bit, I don't think my healing can keep up. He grabbed the bec de corbin in two hands and twisted, reversing his lashings to 56 in the other directiong, draining almost all the light he was holding, as he twisted in the air and flew back at [...checks notes] 658.11 miles per hour per second, back into Kansas.

I suppose with plate enhanced structure you could catch it with only major cracking and minor injury to you. didn't think of that] Kyo cursed. he had forgotten that armored enemies would catch swords. He brought his arm up and took the hit to his forearm, and simultaneously reshaped his blade to a Bec de Corbin, and lashed (26 lashings) himself toward Kansas feet first, using his leg to brace the one handed thrust to his chest.

    Kyo breathed out stormlight, creating a vacuum around himself and the others, putting out the flames, and at the same time swept up and across with his blade, deflecting Kansas's. He keeps sweeping around, up and down, in X like shapes that cover his sides and front.
