      Back in the ancient days, the Brandon fandom was on a smaller forum called TWG (short for Timewaster's guild, I believe). Peter Ahlstrom, Brandon's future assistant, was a forum user under the name "Ookla the Mok".

      So on Peter's birthday, November 26 (ie today), Sharders change their name to "Ookla the [insert whatever you want here]". This goes until Koloss Head Munching Day, aka Brandon's birthday in mid December, where everyone changes back their username.

      Just because we like silly stuff.
