  1. Yes this is very likely … I read a long hypothesis on it somewhere on here a couple years ago with very well written arguments. Idk how I’d go about finding it tho
  2. First post on here; it I don’t think it would necessarily be less resistant as you would need to find a different frequency. Because solid investure would have a different “resistance” to wanting to be moved you would probably just need a different frequency. Just as sound actually travels more effectively through metal than it does air (and we know Brandon loves his metals) because the medium allows the sound waves to maintain its shape. But there is also a distortion in the wavelength when sound moves between mediums. (I.e. diffraction, why a pencil appears to bend when halfway in water) so you probably could vibrate it but finding the proper resonance might prove more difficult
