    The woman let out a screech, loud and unhinged, which rang through the land. Adtae staggered back, then threw his scyth at the woman. She caught it, and snapped it in half. A feat that was not supposed to be possible. How much time had passed since he left?

If he won, the spren might join his cause.” Rthead paused. Such truth. ”They brought in his deadeye shardblade as a ‘witness’, trying to ‘interpret’ what she said to condemn Adolin, the human. But all they did was push her to speak, in Adolin’s favor. She revealed a fact. One that I, as a Truthwatcher, suspected, but still… she revealed that the spren were not, in fact, murdered. Instead, they chose to abandon their oaths.” As Rthead explained this, Lumis turned to the newcomer. “Who are you? …what are you seeking?”
