The Great Fear: Starfall
Through the Living Wrath replied to Through the Living Wrath's topic in Roleplaying
“Yep! Hopefully they will, soon.” “Yes. Perhaps we may embark to find 4… if she wants to be found.” “He has a particularly destructive nature, and we are old adversaries.” -

“Hhhmm… there are places you can stay, but none very trustworthy. All right. I’m going to give you a cell - I’ll watch over you in case the Shardthief attacks.” Teon cradled his hand again, memories flashing at a similar experience. An experience that highlighted his ignorance. -

Teon Asheol, the Mistwarrens, police office Teon frowned. “Not sure. The only places to rest we have here are the cells. Let me get my map.” He nodded to Skye. “There is a place, but I think the two of you need to lay low for a while. The Shardthief is particularly… yeah.” -

@Argenti “Well, be glad you escaped. He would have told you to kill either me, or 1. Thank goodness he doesn’t know 4’s whereabouts.” Before long, the same knight found him. “You…” -

“A knight, rather destructive in nature. He is known as Rage.” @Spark of Hope They were extremely convoluted, unnecessary, and unused. They seemed to be… redundant…. As if she had used them before, but could not now. -

“The Threads should be decipherable - studying one should tell you its purpose.” @Argenti ”Cool. Let’s go - hopefully we can get out without 2 noticing.” -

Teon nodded. “Ok. I might have you talk to an expert at that part, but I think you two deserve some rest.” He flipped through the notebook awkwardly, put it back, and took out another one. In this one, he had a number of symbols - three of them he had used in Kai’s presence. ”You see any symbols like this? I’m trying figure out this whole Elantrian thing, except it’s pretty much the worst invested art to figure out without any teacher.” -
Almost ready to guess… fourth favorite book!

“On a journey. I’ll have to study the threads for a while - determine where the next Starstone will fall.” “Good, it works. Now, I want you to try to study the Threadstone, internalize its form. This will help, yes?” 1 seemed to have an entire mess of Threads, seeming to be something stuffed into a much to small package. -

“Yep. Thankfully, this criminal does not have nearly as many resources as he used to.” In the room, there were a number of journals. Teon picked one, getting his notes on the Shardthief and drawing an Aon - it seemed to enhance clarity of thought. “Now, could you describe the Shardthief for me?” -

“Yea, a bit of a pain.” As she did, she saw the Threads making up everything, including the Starstone and Threadstone. -

Ash thought that her sister was lying about her financial destitution. Her only Feruchemical expenses were metal for her Nicrosilmind, not her addiction to oxygen or something more dangerous. Ash left Scadrial, joining rogues Alene and drinking several oxygen bottles, which cost millions of spheres. Meanwhile, Simon Kholin started embezzling Archbishop Tanner of millions of Breaths that belonged to Tanavast. He brought Ash the money, but -

“That is a simple mechinisizationism that should help your clarity of thought.” She brought forth another Threadstone, in the shape of glasses. “Put these on.” ”It might bond to you, might not. I have ways around that, but it’d be a bit difficult.” -

No reply. “Nothing! Let’s go.” He exited the room. Intellect put on his spectacles. “Aaaahhh. Interesting mechanism… hhmmm… the electricity is to close to Fire, and the World Fog converted it to that.” -

Teon Asheol, the Mistwarrens, police headquarters Teon sighed. He was not nearly old enough to feel this weight already. “We are in a place called the Alleys - quite difficult to get here. You could say that we won the lottery…” he sighed again. “But that is… an optimistic view.” ”I think I’ll need to start from the ground up, though. Where you are from, Roshar, is a single planet in a system of many. My planet of origin is Sel, and the man who attacked you is… presumably… from a planet named Scadrial. ”Where we are is… not an in-between. It’s a place that many accidentally fall in, regardless of planet. On Sel, we have no Radiants. Rather, Elantrians. I became one, but kinda fell into the Alleys directly afterwards. I never really learned how to be Elantrian, so… yeah. The Scadrian is something called a Twinborn, and has a particular hatred for Radiants.” -

Teon, The Mistwarrens, Teon’s police headquarters Teon walked in, waving to Lyam. ”Hey Teon. Any leads on the Shardthief?” ”Got one right here.” Lyam nodded. “Hey. I’m assuming the two of you are heading to debrief?” ”Yea.” Teon led them into a smalller room, where he sat in a small room. ”I suspect you will want an explanation of,” he gestured around himself, “where we are? The Alleys?” -
