  1. “The Maelstrom… it’s essentially the big bad guy for the Emperor.” ”Well, I’m blind, and this camera is very blurry, so… style doesn’t matter. For that matter, neither does color. Blonde doesn’t matter either. But I guess I would like someone smart.”
  2. Whaaaaaaaaat? I am the literal manifestation of all joviality. Sometimes I like to… branch out, you know? Try sarcasm, or that sort of humor. ”You should take to the skies - regenerate some of your energy - then come again.”
  3. The Scribe smiles, then looks at The Emperor, frowning slightly. “To be honest, Atlas… I am scared. This Maelstrom is like if Madness had her full power.” lol @The Sly Cookie Pyk frowned, not sure how to answer that. “The uuuuhhhh… the human kind?”
  4. Well you don’t get any. Nugget Wrath is feeling petulant today.
  5. He inclines his head. “Thank you.” uuuhhhh but I’ve all run out of the philosophy spouts stuff or the traumatizing backstory stuff…
  6. Aelorin leaped into action, fluidly bringing his blades towards the beast, landing them on its wing. hey hey hey not that fast @Halcyon The Only they regrow cuz this is a boss
  7. You will need to travel to the Fields of Death now.
  8. Dint frowned. Under here would not be offensive enough. He considers for a while, and then lifts himself through the hole again, then opens the wagon door carefully, clearing from line of sight of the outside. He watched to which arrows hit which side.
  9. This character was currently in the dungeons of Intellect’s castle, hostage after Rage’s failed attack. However, when Anguish attacked, the hatch leading to the dungeon burnt down, and immeasurable heat came through the hole. It takes a few blows, seeming to weaken, before it draws its energy within itself and letting out a small expulsion, pushing Cole back and hurting him a small amount. It readied another attack, the blob compressing itself against the ground.
  10. eehhhh we gotta wait for the emperor anyways Uuuuuuhhhhhhh unfinished books that I wish were a thing im writin em slowly also, oh yea. Pyk frowned, looking around as if he had been in a haze. “Sorry… I’m a little… confused… right now…” The Scribe smiled. “Thank you, Atlas. Sometimes, when I write the stories I have been dictated to write, the Drin back then seems like an alien creature. Or the stray thought comes that should he see me now, he would not recognize me. ”But you have reminded me of the simplicity of life. Ofttimes, people search their entire life for the answer to their deepest questions, a solution to the most pressing problems. But… most of the times, it is as simple as that observation.” Aelorin looked at his companion. “Prepare now. You will not get a second chance.” He unsheathed his second blade. mmmhmmm by the way yall, Aelorin will not be accepting magic except in the form of cool swords. @Kino
  11. Aelorin hesitantly put his hand to the handle, pushing the door open. @Halcyon The Only I know you already posted here, but I’m to lazy to find it. I remember what it said tho. As he pushed the door open, he froze, sighed, and continued on with a sword unsheathed. “I… I have been known as many things. I have been Scribe, Mystic, Kingslayer, Favored. But… first… I was Drin. Perhaps never simple, but that was a time when others would not look at me and see divinity.” so like… I actually never posted anything about Drin, but he’s actually pretty important in Pyk’s world. He comes after, in Wriulin’s empire, and is the protagonist of books 2-3. He never becomes the Scribe canonically, tho.
  12. “By all means.” The man continued without acknowledging the threat further. “Your group has a lot it can give me. Entertainment! The deal is as such: sacrifice one of your own to me, or I kill you all.”
  13. Guys. I just realized I don’t eat breakfast or lunch… thats bad
  14. “I don’t work for them, no. But they gave me some… final entertainment before the poison in my body finished its work.”
  15. I’ll be what we already said I’d be.
  16. The man grinned in a predatory way. “Oh. It’s not that type of deal, you see. These, these are my waters. And I believe there should be a price for using them, yes?”
  17. The Scribe hesitates slightly as the embrace reminds him of times long past. A tear falls from his eye. ”Do… do you want to know my name, Atlas?” A secret he had kept for as long as he had been The Scribe… Cool… uh… So he’s pretty tall, at least 6 3 I usually describe him as mousy, he has a lanky build, wears simple, bland clothing. Ya? @Ancient Elantrian ”You got anything else to do? The Scribe is off delving into past trauma, bless his stars.” @Kino Aelorin gestured to the door, quietly pulling it open. Sain looked at KeCil. “We gonna quest or not?” He ignores the bacon.
