  1. “I have no name. I am simply a Herald, of the age of Flame to come.”
  2. “It blessed me. It shows me the way.”
  3. The innkeeper looks up at them, and gives them lodging without problem. @Kino Your character had been abandoned in the storm, a chaos of wind, lightning, and more surrounding you.
  4. As he got closer to the peak, it grew taller. However, he seemed to climb faster than it grew. He reached a small ledge, where a pad of notes were set on a small table, near a tent. @IcedOutPenguin
  5. There was a mount before him, though as he got closer, it seemed to grow taller and taller. @IcedOutPenguin
  6. “It. Is. Flame was here before the king, and flame will be here after the king.” Herald started muttering this, and Taylor could see a small light behind his eyes.
  7. “Yup! I gots to educate the long lost King on his edumacation.” She shooed them away, and a strong gust of wind blew towards them, pushing them towards the mountain.
  8. “Nope! But he was always a pain.” Intellect frowned, apparently not knowing what to say, think, or do.
  9. “It is not nice. It is there. It will always be there, even after it is extinguished.”
  10. Nuh-uh! () The woman catches the kick, and follows up with a fist. Pyk attempts a Cast, but his power… shies away from the woman. The woman grins, and the swords reappear, this time a large hammer. She slammed it towards Pyk, who shifted away, reappearing behind the woman. “This power… it is much better, I believe, than when I was simply a Healer.” She leaps, shaking the ground and landing on a far side of the cathedral, putting a hand to the ground. “That said, it is still useful.” She took her hand away from the plant she had been hiding, and it grew into vines, snapping towards them and bleeding yellow Ichor.
  11. “No. It is eternal.”
  12. I added a reply for Drin The woman watched, grinning, then brought out two golden swords, seemingly from nowhere, killing the woman again. “Me first.”
  13. He follows, still nourishing the Flame.
  14. “Nope! Imma make this guy remember! We used to be Allie’s, you know, back when I was Waela, and he was Eternal.”
  15. “Fine.” The glow faded. He licked his lips. “I am…” He laughed slightly. “Eternal.”
  16. *whispers* edit Perhaps… but there is a FIGHT in order! ”Yes! She would have told you the location of the Lattice!” The woman took a swig from a canteen, grinning.
  17. Herald ignored the coo, still muttering and glowing.
  18. Oh crap I did lol The head had a blindfold on. It seemed to be squirming under the blindfold. ”The head is to stop you. I’m afraid the High Priestess would have been much too helpful in your endeavors.” Drin frowned, folding his arms. “Do you recognize this place?”
  19. Herald sniffed, turning away. As the king left, Herald frowned. His skin began to take on an orange glow, and he jerked his head to the side. “Yes. I see. I understand. Thank you.”
  20. Pyk stared at the blindfolded woman, hand on his weapon. “You!” She grinned. “Me! Glad you remember!” She looks (and yes, she can do this) at Asher. “Do you like it? I collected it myself. Perhaps this Rending is the final one required.”
  21. “Yes, of course!” Intellect glared. “And what am I to do, Madness?” She grinned. “You are going to remember, of course!”
  22. He looks to the cop, wrinkling his nose. “No thank you.”
  23. Pyk frowns, stepping forwards, then paled. In the basin, still bleeding, is a severed head. The woman sitting in the pew had a blindfold on, but seemed to hear them. “Is that you, promised Vessel?” Drin frowned. “Do you have any idea where he could be?”
  24. Herald is still muttering to the small Flame he keeps under his jacket.
