    Kansas used the liquified rock (plus some Lashing) to create a wall between himself and the other shards

    Kansas takes the impact, flying back—but Kyo's force also takes him straight into the swing of the Katana, which should be enough to shatter his breastplate entirely in return

    As Kyo dismisses his polearm, Kansas kicks him square in the chest and then slashes again with his Katana as Kyo Lashes back toward him

    Kansas takes a heavy hit to the back, flinging him to the ground. He winces, healing the cracks in his Plate. Then he turns, leveling his Katana again and Lashing back toward Kyo

    Shooting someone point blank with a gun doesn't make the gun a melee weapon. It's only melee if you physically smack them with it (Hold on Skye) @Ookla the Knight Kansas grins; this is what he was ready for. At the last second, he rolls to the side and extends his Katana back to the side, blade forward, slicing Kyo as he goes by
