  1. Hey, We just got back from a Warhammer LARP and didn’t have any internet access there, so I only read your message this morning. I have to say, I’m really disappointed with how Celcius is being organized. I wrote to Dragonsteel asking when we could expect Brandon to be in Avilés, because there is no programm and even just a week ago, they had no idea how the signing process would work. And now, as we can see, there’s a signup system that doesn’t even function properly. We planned our whole vacation around this — flying from Poland to Spain just to see Brandon and Dragonsteel. I’m honestly crushed that we couldn’t get a ticket. We even rescheduled our stay and booked a more expensive place in Avilés just so we could be close and rest between events. It’s a total mess. I don’t know what to do at this point. We're in a different time zone and I'm seriously worried we’ll miss another announcement — and this whole trip will end up being a huge flop... Still, we’d love to catch up in person. Maybe we should stage a protest for fun — make a mock picket line about the broken reservation system. Gather a few fellow fans who also didn’t get tickets, write up some funny slogans, and let off some steam xD
  2. Hey Worldhoopers! It honestly hurts to watch all the prep going into the next Dragonsteel Nexus—so many of us are facing the same struggle. A trip to the US is just way out of our budget. Luckily, the Dragonsteel crew is coming to Europe! They’ll be in Spain this July! We’ve booked our flights and already started hunting for a place to stay. We managed to find one about an hour away by train from the actual town, which feels like a win considering most accommodations were sold out by the end of last year. Is anyone else planning to go? Celsius 232 is a big Spanish convention—completely free—and apparently it takes over the whole town, not just some expo hall! At least that’s what we’ve heard, since we’ve never been before We’d love to meet up with other fans while we’re there! We’re coming from Poland and we’re posting a photo of us below this message. Our English isn’t perfect, but we believe a lot of smiles, good vibes, and shared passion can go a long way If you’re going, let us know! Cheers, Marcin (Custo) & Helena (Aria)
  3. Hey everyone! I just wanted to share some exciting news—a member of Bridge Four has flown to the Moon! Well, not literally, but I’m currently in the middle of a week-long isolation in a habitat simulating a lunar base. Colony-1 is the largest isolation project in the world. There are 30 of us, including myself, and for the next 7 days (we’ve been here for two already), we’ll be conducting a ton of experiments assigned by universities from all around the globe. We have participants from five continents—only missing Australia if you don't count the poles. I got permission from the mission commander to show you a photo of our group, including myself, but please don’t share this picture anywhere. I took a while to decide whether I should bring the Bridge Four patch with me. At first, I didn’t really identify with the group. But upon reflection, I realized that many of us can relate to their story. A few years ago, I was a broken man myself. I had massive debts, and I could barely afford food or rent. Now, I’m living a happy life and fulfilling one of my biggest dreams by taking part in a massive scientific endeavor. So yes, I do feel like a member of Bridge Four. If you're interested in the details, I'd be happy to share more once I'm back. For now, I leave you with this message and I’m here for any questions you might have. If not, I hope this post brings a smile to your face!
  4. Hi I know we are terribly late. But I'm very curious about the ticket dynamics and what chance there is of snatching a ticket from someone. Are there any sites, or groups on social media where there are ads like give away, sell, swap? xD
  5. When you wrote about The Cursed Child, something unlocked in my mind. In fact I absolutely wanted to see it because an avid Potterhead. And it just so happens that I will be in London in August.... Gosh, I need to buy tickets for this show xD Cool that you are active on the scene. Me, I have almost 10 years of hiatus and I feel I have a hole in my heart because of it. So from September I start school and want to defend my acting diploma after two years. Also, who knows, maybe I will also have the opportunity to see the performances in which I will play? Your nickname says a lot about your artistic soul. What performance have you played in recently?
  6. I think the musical 'Metro' is still in first place. A Polish show trying to equal Broadway. Much weaker but I have a lot of fondness for it ^^ As if there were no restrictions, what stage event would you like to see?
  7. I have read this thread and I am strongly surprised. But positively surprised In the US unlike Poland you have many religions, churches, groupings. It seems to me that it is much easier to gain distance and a different perspective in such a place. In Poland, you are either a Catholic who blindly follows an institution or you sincerely hate the institution. There is rarely anything in between. This also shows the maturity of the author. It's nice to know that the author is trying to create an original and realistic world without pushing his agenda into it.
  8. Great! Thanks a lot for recommending topics. I'm glad this universe attracts so many artistic souls ^^
  9. As we are already on the subject of adaptations. I don't know how popular it is in your country, but it happens that in our country studio cinemas broadcast recordings of plays and other big stage events. As I am returning to the theatre this year, I would like to stage a small play based on the Cosmere story in the next two years. If the project were to grow to its dream size would you, as fans of the books, want to see a major theatrical adaptation of a book? Or is this medium not interesting enough in your opinion?
  10. After several abbreviated trips, I badly need relaxation and a holiday break, so the Reshi Islands are the only right choice. Running around with no pants on, azure water, beautiful weather and sweet fruit-based breakfasts.... I'm going even now xD As for Poland, I highly recommend it. I live a good life. Like every country we have our problems. But it is very safe considering the European migrant crisis and the war in our dear neighbour. Also we have beautiful regions, tasty cuisine and good music. I recommend
  11. *He enters quietly and looks around uncertainly* - I think I've found a place for myself - *scratches his head uncertainly*. - Don't bother, I just stopped by to say hello. I'm Custo and after a very long hiatus I'm returning with a bang to the theatre, which has always been the love of my life. Also, I'm happy to sit in a corner and listen to your stories.
  12. A very difficult choice. Interesting challenge. How about Alik? At least I would have a pastry chef in the package for my cooking :D I misspoke. I am finishing the second part - Words of Radiance It is interesting that you ask, because my town is famous for its bagels called in Polish: ‘Obwarzanek ‘ And I like one baked with cheese. Although looking around the forum there is something suspicious about those bagels and cookies.... Feruchemy is the most appealing to me. I would love to store health or memories. Characters with chronicling roles in novels seem particularly romantic to me. Thank you so much for welcoming me and involving me in the first contact :) I appreciate, very nice practice <3
  13. Oh, it's hard to pick just one character. I have a favourite character in every series! Mistborn 1e - Sazed Mistborn 2e - Steris Elantris- Sarene SA - Dalinar so far
  14. Hi guys My name is Marcin, but all fandom friends call me Custo. My fiancée showed me Brandon's work three years ago. Since then, I've been a big fan. I've completed Mistborn both eras, Elantris, Warbreaker and I'm halfway through the second part of the Archive. Also, there is a lot ahead of me and I absolutely have to catch up because I browse your site with baked goods where there is a lot to discover. I hope to contribute more to the forum. It's a good time to stop using the translator and start polishing my English
