    I think it only happens if you touch Cricket, to prevent it from going insane (Cricket tripped and hit Bacon on accident).

    Cricket, enjoying himself through the park, suddenly shifted to wherever Bacon was, falling and flailing his arms while screaming at the group. "Don't think of me! When you think of me, I shift to where you are! So don't think of me!"

    "I can do more than just that." replied Cricket slowly. "I can shift too, yes, they're different and---" "Oh! Okay, hi?" Cricket remarks, awkwardly, reaching down to pet the stoat. ohhhhhh lol alright 'night I need to do some stuff so see y'all tomorrow!

    "It's just... everything has been insane lately. My shifting is working only sporadically, there are more freaks like me and now I'm stuck with you guys!" exclaims Cricket in an outburst of emotion. "No...no offense, by the way." he adds as an afterthought.

    "Oh! Um, yeah. I'm good I think." Nervousness flooded once more into Cricket at the face of a stranger. They're all strangers, I suppose, he added as an afterthought. "Portalers?" Cricket said, eyes widening, "There are others like me?"

    "Huh? What? Ear trouble? I tried to leave this world, but something stopped me. It pulled me back towards you guys. Seems somebody wants me to stay with you." Cricket suddenly grew nervous, thinking on how much he had just spilled out.

    Cricket blinks, taking in reality and the portal vanishes as he falls backwards onto Bacon, knocking them both over. "Ahhh! Sorry!"

    Cricket stood up, running his hands through his hair, now covered in grass, and a crack in reality appeared. A portal. "Can't stay." he muttered, mostly to himself. "Dangerous..."

    "Help! Help!" cries Storm in agony as the math sears him and forces him to drop his sword. "Anybody? Please..."

    "I'm... fine. I'm just extremely tired and... and..." Cricket buried his head in his hands suddenly.

    "You're all just like Tyris, before... before..." Cricket stumbled back, memories crashing against him.

    "No compromises with darkness. Only... death!" Storm calls out dramatically, raising his sword above his head to strike That-Which-Must-Not-Be-Named down.
