    "Rose, no." he whispered. He was not going to let this man bully her daughter any more. He stepped between the two. "Tell me, are you the person who neglected your own daughter, and forced her to be perfect at everything?"

    Daughter. Cricket sighed. This was Rose's father. He stepped back at first, but then everything Rose had ever told him about her parents came to him, and simmering rage poured through him. How dare he do what he had done to his own daughter? "Why," he said quietly. "are you here?" Cricket closed his eyes, trying to control his rage.

    Cricket set aside his guitar and stood up slowly, but was ready for a fight. "What do you want with her?" he asked carefully.

    "Thanks." he said softly, and something in him snapped into realization as he looked at Rose. Deep emotions. He saw what he truly wanted. "I... thank you."

    He sighed, finally stopping, still strumming the guitar before ultimately ending the song. He breathed heavily. Something had been different about that song. It was not like any he had ever sung before. It had seemed alive. He glanced at Rose, and smiled.

    He continued to sing, pouring his emotions into the words and tune, his anger, despair, hope, anything he felt, and the song echoed him, seeming to come back to him and fill him with every emotion on the face of the earth.

    What are things you someday want to do with your life, places you wanna go, things you wanna see? really anything honestly I don't care bucket list! Let's see.... I wanna go to Ireland, visit Tolkien's gravesite, publish a book, go to college, go to Dragonsteel, meet some Sharders irl, for starters
