  1. “Thanks! Hey guys, how are you doing!” He waves to the guards.
  2. “Towards one side of the planet-spirit. I will remember that. Should we continue or go back?” @SpiritOfWrath
  3. Cole does a combination of buying, stealing, gifting, and trading things in the shops. It’s not like it really matters what he takes… they won’t miss it that much. And he left a pancake from earlier! Who wouldn’t want one of those!
  4. Nick vaults, lightened by hydrogen, into the upper floor. He picks up whichever strike team member seems like the commander, hoping the body - and any useful teleportation related technology - will come with him. “There’s not a lot of time; take whatever supplies you can!”
  5. “I’m a saurolurgist. I can use the hide to figure out how to make another one of these creatures.” @TheRavenHasLanded
  6. Olvax thinks. "Two of them, and a compilation of my magical knowledge for your organisation's library."
  7. "Let's ensure all of the corruption is out, and then I'll leave, I suppose."
  8. "You look familiar, that's all. Why are you in an oven room?" Olvax repeats his snake eye eyebrow raise. "How about when it sheds or dies, whichever comes first, you give me its hide. What's your price."
  9. "Advance payment for something you don't have yet? What if it dies beforehand? Shouldn't we be putting out that fire?"
  10. "Once it does, I'll buy it from you."
  11. Veer looks at it. "So that's the thing that did all this? Maybe if you put it with some magic it can't use to spread, you can store it like that."
  12. Olvax cocks his head. "Have I seen you before?"
  13. The corruption is a piece of change metamagic. Without it, the spellsteel begins to sparkle again, colors it reflects prismatic. Healing magic and some raw telekinesis are unbound from the mess, sending out ordinary golden sparks and rustling objects around the room. The corruption itself lacks a form, so it keeps trying to jump towards whatever magic you put it near. He laughs "Agreed on both counts."
  14. Kaleb pulls out his pouch, preparing to freeze... stuff.
  15. "I suppose I could use the cameras, but this is useful."
  16. Alvar reloads the crossbow, and hits the tree. "Yes, they likely did. They weren't totally incompetent, perhaps they took them off of inexperienced guards."
  17. "I do not possess any water. Payment for the winged reptile? You're not too attached to it, I hope."
  18. Both Fourth and Magic blink for a second, stunned and confused. "Fine." Magic links to Ryn and suddenly you know where every animal on the islands are, and what they are doing. Insects and birds watch the tributes carefully.
  19. "Do you have anything useful to contribute, shadow?"
  20. The new sparks and the old sparks stay there, but the metal makes additional ones. "That's draining some of my power," notes Veer.
  21. "Yes, but I don't have a better way to put out a fire." Olvax looks at the pseudodragon with interest. "Pleased to meet you. I am Olvax, master saurolurist. Does that creature shed its skin?"
  22. "That target works." Alvar shoots it, the bolt grazing the edge then falling out. "The bandit crossbows are low quality, but we could use them for such a trick."
  23. Nick opens his mouth, then closes it again. He instead takes a railgun rifle and fires a bullet out of the new hole in the ceiling, aiming for a strike team member.
  24. "Horned lizards, remember? Although there's probably a better way." Olvax's robe begins to stick to his body. "Even cold blooded, I can't keep this up for long."
