Funny Halloween story I forgot to tell

So on Halloween night, the rest of my family when trick-or-treating while I stayed home

Which meant it was my job to pass out candy to other trick-or-treaters

So this 10-11 year old kid walks up to the door, and I already have the doorknob turned all the way because I can see him coming through the peephole

So he's goes to knock on the door, and I swing it wide open, hoping to scare him 

But for SOME REASON

He tried to lean on the door when he went to knock, 

So I'm now looking down at this kid who just fell into my house

and he's looking back up at me, clearly very surprised,

So I dropped a Hi-Chew into his bag and said "Happy Halloween."

It was odd, but really funny.
