    I think that would work, it all depends on how, like coder said, F-Nicrosil works. It's a lot more likely that using an aluminum fabric to unkey the light to move it off-world would work significantly better. Isles of the Emberdark spoiler: A skybreaker wouldn't necessarily glow, only when they are using light, you can use other magic, such as breaths, or ferucemy to fuel surgebinding WoB:

    Lashings work a lot closer to F-steel than A-steel. There is a reason why they have a capped speed, because they will burn up because of air friction if they go to fast.
