Rex winced visibly. "Why would anyone want to do that? sacrifice you to who?" She was still holding the canteen.

"How did it happen? Are you still in pain anywhere?" her brow furrowed with concern.

"How do you know my name? Why won't you let me go?!" She struggled in his grasp, trying to bolt for the doorway.

"Good. glad that's settled, now, are you thirsty?" She offered the canteen to the man. "What's your name? I'm Rex."

"Good. Are you thirsty? Is anything else hurting? do you have a place to stay?" She smiled at him very slightly, trying to be comforting.

"Storming man." Ash rolled her eyes, climbing to her feet and walking towards the door leading inside.

Rex sighed, reaching down and grabbing the man's hand. She looked directly into his face. "Can you do ASL?"

"Can you walk? are you thirsty?"

"Storm off! Where am I? How did I get here?" She stood up, a bit unsteady on her feet. she tripped into the rail, splitting her lip. She swore loudly, wiping blood from her face.

Rex checked the man's pulse, noting the healed wounds. "What now?" She asked.

Ash shook slightly, quivering. she felt.... cold? Where am I? She cracked her eye open, glancing around herself. she was on a balcony, overlooking the (whatever she is overlooking). She started. There was a man on the balcony with her, looking at her curiously. "Who are you!" Ash growled, glaring at him.
