She watched him carefully, noting that her head wasn't hurting, and that she could think clearly again. The medicine must have worn off.

Rex slowly became aware of her surroundings. Something felt... different... I didn't dream. She realized. Rex opened her eyes slowly.

Rex sighed contentedly in her sleep.

"H-hold me..." She fell asleep.

"P-promise?" She asked, letting her eyes fall closed.

"If... I fall zleep, will you-ou leave?" She asked, twisting a lock of his hair between her fingers.
