  1. That would be a funny plot, where Kelsier has to pretend that he's a Fused or something.

Kelsier-form. If Kelsier would bond with a Parshman instead of nailing himself to his body. He would take over the body and could potentially get Surgebinding, something that I think he cannot because of the spike mostly.

  2. Clownform-Made by bonding a laughterspren. Your limbs are lanky and hard to control, making you very clumsy, but your mind becomes very sharp in terms of wit. Swells up your nose to look like a ball, and there is barely any carapace on the top of your head, instead, your hair grows in weird ways.

  3. In Elantris, there is a location known as the Pool, also known as Devotion's perpendicularity. We see the Elantrians toss their Hoed in there, where they seem to dissolve in the water. However, we know that is not quite the case, as Riino, the first Hoed we see thrown into the Pool, is actually appears in Oathbringer as the lighthouse keeper in Shadesmar, and is a member of the Ire (although as far as I know he isn't in Mistborn: Secret History). Anyways, this got me thinking about the other people who "dissolved" in the perpendicularity, specifically Saolin. Do you guys think he's still alive, and if so, where?

  4. Yeah, I agree with you. I think Brandon said that some of his beta readers were surprised that the ending of Stormlight 5 wasn't as gigantic as they thought. Or at least, not Hero of Ages style gigantic. I'd bet it's definitely the most climactic of all the Stormlight books, but there will still be five more books in the series to go after that. Hence there is not going to be an absolute victory or defeat.

  5. I think Brandon said you could call it whatever. Still, you are correct about the fact that it still doesn't exactly solve their problem lol.

So is it Dragonsteel Nexus Convention or Dragonsteel Nexus? I think he's saying it's the latter, but it is still a convention named Dragonsteel Nexus.

If they didn't like Dragonsteel Convention I don't think they solved anything with this.  It's still the name of the company and then a name for a place where things/people meet. They just made it slightly unclear the nature of the thing by taking out Convention and putting in Nexus.

    Whatever.

I'm pretty sure Brandon said it was named after a place in the Cosmere, which I actually found on a map in Rhythm of War: The Nexus of Imagination. Beyond that, I dunno much about the specific details of the actual convention either.

*I think the Nexus was actually the Silverlight Nexus he mentioned in a WOB somewhere.

  7. I woke up this morning and for some reason, the first thing that came into my head was "The Sunlit Pan", where Nomad is trying to get enough Bread Equivalent Units to escape. Does anyone have more ideas for this book?
