  1. Well, I think it's been about three years since I started reading Brandon Sanderson. The first book I ever read from him was, drumroll please...

    The Way of Kings!

Yeah, I read Stormlight at age ten. Admittedly I had no idea what was going on half the time, but the action sequences were cool, Kaladin was cool, and the magic was cool, so I read up to about a third of Rhythm of War (I skipped the novellas). I thought RoW was too slow and depressing, so I didn't finish it on my first read through.

I've reread the series about four times now, most recently being a couple months ago in anticipation for Wind and Truth. And yes, I've now read Rhythm of War and the novellas, along with every other Cosmere book except for White Sand. I even got my mom to read Stormlight (and it was kind of funny to me that she became a Shalladin supporter). It feels like I've been reading Sanderson for my entire life, even though even this site technically predates my existence.

Hopefully, I'll see some of you at Dragonsteel Nexus this year, which I am quite grateful to be going to (you must sign in to do that, anybody?) Alright, that's basically all I have to say. Adios.

      PICTUUUUURES yes

What did/do you think of Lirin?

Lirin kind of reminds me of my dad if he were a jerk. As in, my dad cares about human life and has advice that is technically correct, but he wouldn't turn in his own son just because the law says so. I really liked Lirin in Way of Kings but he was pretty annoying in Rhythm of War.

YES EXACTLY HE'S THE WORST IN RoW

He's not great in OB either, tbf.
