Really cool to see this analysis! I definitely picked up on the story reasons for Yumi as it's a bit more obvious in the story and in a bit dumb, but it was cool to see the narratuve and cultural purpose in the stories. Also highkey whenever a character has one I wanna go for one but then I have to stop reading so thanks for the dilema Brandon!! Only tangentially related but the scene in warbreaker always makes me chuckle because of when Bluefingers turns around his helper. Idk why I just imagine Bluefingers grabbing him by the top of the head and spinning him like a beyblade with a cartoon swoosh effect- 8 replies

Hi all! I hope we're having a lovely day. Really I just wanted to make this post to share my thoughts and feelings. And to share that I was honestly very pleasantly surprised with the level of representation in the cosmere from the LGBT+ community and different cultures. After reading Lotr and the Witcher (they are both really good ofc) I was basically expecting no rep in the cosmere and was on board mainly from what I'd heard about the magic systems. But wow I was so happy to see on page in Canon stuff. So that's very cool

Hi friends! I hope we're all having a lovely day! Ohhhh I finished reading the Yumi today and it was so fun! I don't normally enjoy romance all that much but brandon does it good. I will admit to feeling a little bogged down with it during the middle but wow when the Sanderlanche hit I was gasping and yelling the whole time. And tbh there's a lot of stuff like with Yumi and Akane and Tojin that I liked. Wow nightmares were scary at first to, lots of horror sections that had my hairs standing up and skin crawling. I hear that people weren't so much a fan of certain explanation sections but I actually really appreciated them and helped fill out any questions I had. All in all a very fun read and between this and Tress these cosmere secret projects are incredible!

Hi! I hope you're all having a splendid day! I apologise if this is the wrong thread for my topic I'm still learning my way around. But. I don't know if its only me but does anyone else prefer not reading any extra cosmere material outside of published books? I absolutely understand the desire for answers and tidbits on where this is all heading, alas I think I just prefer to read books as they come and let it all unfold before me. Unless I'm being dumb and need to ask here for clarity which I can assure you will become more common. With all that said I do something get git with some mild anxiety about whether something will be answered at all from time to time

Honestly I don't really mind explicit content it's in a decent amount of fantasy I've read. Although I absolutely understand if it makes people uncomfortable completely. I just wonder why it's specifically bath scenes- 8 replies

My favourite book is the final empire. It got me into the cosmere and has a special place in my heart! And full series is Stormlight!! How's about you?

I'm really enjoying it so far!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

I think my favourite named spren is pattern. He's juts so funky I love him. As a type of spren? I'd probably say cultivation spren I love their general design a lot.

Ohhh very good question. I'd like to think I'd be a windrunner but sadly I'm dreadful with heights. I think I'd be a lightweaver because illusions would be nice to juts look good easily. As for my favourite order, definitely windrunner..maybe a bit generic but they're just so cool and the action sequences written with them are stunning to read.

Honestly that's a good point. Baths are like super relaxing and I even irl got the idea to like scent them from brandon (thanks sando). Like I don't think it's weird that's there's a few scenes. I just needed to know if it was juts me, couldn't get it out of my head for no reason- 8 replies
