  1. Elan nodded. "That's a choice. Twenty years old isn't much for extreme wisdom."
  2. I... I suppose that's reason to trust him. "That depends on your choice. You could hear them, just be someone who listens. Or you could act and really play into that 'god' role. Or you could leave them as just an afterthought, just let them live life normally. I'd say that's one part of godhood you do get to control, is how you use it."
  3. Yeah? "I would say first things first just learn to live with it. Then you can start figuring out how to get rid of it. And... treat yourself like a person, because on some level you still are."
  4. I... I'm not sure. Intuition? "Most don't. If you ever need help or need someone to talk to, though, I probably understand what you're going through better than most. I'm sorry this happened to you."
  5. He seems the you-will-do-what-i-say type. The controlly type. "You good?"
  6. "You're much more connected to them this time, I'd guess. Seeing as she's dead." Really? Because he gives me exactly those controlly vibes.
  7. "It's overwhelming to hear that much. Splitting. I've seen people go crazy under seconds of it. You're a strong dude."
  8. I... are... are we sure? He did something... the act of a tyrant... "So now they just chill around?"
  9. "Do you hear them? Loud? Chaotic?" He had relaxed, a little, but was still slightly uptight. "I'm... fine, Ave."
  10. Elan looked at him for a moment, eyebrows furrowed. "You killed the queen..." He says, realization in his eyes. "You... you did that and took it from her... you monster..." He steps back. "You could have just let them go, but you took them for yourself! What kind of person are you?!"
  11. "Huh. That's... I'm sorry. Do you have any other plans? And... where would you get so many connections?"
  12. "How would you do that?" Elan thinks for a moment, "I mean, if you need one I have a pretty large group of people you could connect to."
  13. "Sounds complicated. So now... how is godhood for you?"
  14. "Oh. Yeah. So... we just have to find the right spot."
  15. "How did you accidentally travel across dimensions?"
  16. "Normal humans. People. They don't live forever or have to deal with every other alternate reality version of themselves. And normal gods aren't super ADHD. So... yeah. And I've yet to meet someone as interconnected as I am. Or other interdimensional travelers with quite my predicament."
  17. "My whole..." he waves his hands around vaguely. "Situation." He sighs. "For a god I don't word good."
  18. Ooo I love that idea My friend group fell apart freshman year, and I spent a lot of it alone, or just with my one friend who stayed with me. That'd be my 116 pages. My Book of Nephi... well, I met this guy and we got close. I wouldn't have ever met him if I hadn't lost my old group, but now he's my best friend in the world. I love him so much, and he makes my life the happiest place ever. I went through an awful year, but because of it I met him. That's really a beautiful analogy. Sometimes the hard, bad things end up with things being better, or at least things end up okay. Maybe they aren't perfect, and we wish that it wouldn't happen, but things work out.
  19. "Well, first I tried suicide. Then... we organized it. One of us just took charge, got everyone to shut up. It was hard at first, but we figured out how to silence our thoughts so we could send them only when we wanted. We also learned how to kind of set each other on mute, so we couldn't hear everything. And then we formed our council."
