Through the Living Elan

I am. Okay, so I don't drink anything caffeinated or alcoholic. OTHER THAN THAT I DRINK WHAT I WANT.

"Great. Who cares," Elan says, "I'll have to get used to looking at that I guess." He pauses. "So, no one is trying to stop me from destroying the world, I guess this'll be easy. Haven't had a universe go without resistance in a long time, that's refreshing."

Keeping tabs on me, are we now?

"Sure." Elan says. "Any idea why you suddenly have blood drenched raven wings sticking out of your back?"

"Huh? The blood? No, I prefer a strong beer." Elan says. "Haven't drunk blood since universe 1162JK."

"That's an ominous sentence to be saying after wings come out of your back." Elan says quizzically. "Not the weirdest reaction to new appendages I've seen though."

"Huh. Those look new." Elan says. "Lots of blood. Ouch."

"Ew. Stop doing that with your shoulders. It's weird." Elan says. "Also, I won't destroy everything. There's a ton more out there than there is here." He gestures towards the skies.

Elan cocks his head. "Where do you want to... why would you..." He pauses, looking at Ráven differently. "I suppose... yes, if you aid me in my efforts, then I will send you and one other to another place, of your choice. "And you... don't what? Be more specific. I hate people who expect me to just read their mind and figure out what they're saying."

“Magic. Probably. I dunno. Laws and physics don’t really apply to us.” Elan says. “Now. To a more desperate point: are you here to help me destroy the world or to try and fail to stop me?”

“Long story” “I do NOT travel across dimensions. That often. Well… not most of us… actually… well it’s debatable.”

“Oh no, I’m from here. Ish.”

“I promise they will be under my protection.” Elan says solemnly. “One of who now?” Elan says quizzically.

"Oh, so you will help me? Or would you rather watch them die. Painfully. Before your eyes. Unable to help them."

"Good. So, you'll help me?" Elan uses a knife to clean dirt out from under his fingernails. "Or... do I have to get rid of those... children, you were talking about?"

"Oh, you won't be dead... merely... separated."

"Oh, I'm no lawyer." Elan says. "I'm a freedom fighter. You... everyone here... will be freed..."

"You don't want to die?" Elan says. "You sure? This universe... it won't be around for long. Not... pure enough. No... it'll have to go... death would be a better end than what is coming..."

"Good. Would you like to see it?" He pulls out a huge weapon. "This will let you see all of it. If you survive it." He starts cackling again.

"Because..." Elan hisses, "The world must know... everyone must be everywhere... the world... worlds... must know..." "So, Raven. Ever seen... the multiverse?"

Elan walks over to the crying judge, ignoring the punch in the face. "There is no one who will help you now." He whispers in the man's ear. "Pray all you want. No one is going to help you." He grabs the man and the two of them disappear, collapsing in on themselves right before the building explodes outwards in a burst of light brighter than the sun. ----------- Far away from where the courtroom was, Elan and the judge appear. A knife appears in Elan's hand and he holds it up to the judge's throat. "Now tell me. Who are you."

Elan rests his thumb on the button. Then he presses it. "Whoops," He says, grinning crazily. The building begins to shake uncontrollably.

Elan reveals what he is holding. "When I press this button, this entire building will be forcibly ripped apart atom by atom, each piece flung across time and reality." He starts laughing, his expression crazed.

"OF COURSE NOT!!! YOU TRY BEING RIPPED ACROSS THE MULTIVERSE AGAINST YOUR WILL, AND THEN TELL ME YOU'RE STILL SANE!!!" "Who gave you permission?" Elan says, pulling something out of his pocket. "Well, it doesn't matter. The building won't be here much longer."
