    "It's meeeee!" Eike says through the intercom. Strangely, the sound of rushing wind is also coming through.

    "Eh, doesn't matter." Eike says. Then the microphone cuts out, the sound of a door opening the last thing transmitted through it.

    "I would never give you weapons! Aby would eat me!" Eike breaks down laughing, a strangely childish giggling.

    The boy, Kiee, hands Kaza a long, red dagger. "They shouldn't take this away when you enter the arena." He says. "Use it how you will."

    Aydri bolts behind him, dragging Cedar along with her. They follow Roy, hoping he knows where he's going.

    "I dunno. Just... leave the tiger alone?" Aydri says, holding onto Cedar's hand tightly. "I mean... maybe it'll do the same to us?"

    The boy grins. "I snuck onto the train." He says. "I'm good at being where the people in the Capitol don't want me to be. Are you doing okay? The reaping... I mean, you're going to almost imminent death."
