    Lukas shuffles to hide behind her at the droves of people in the cafeteria, but looks around her to see the buffet tables. "Y-yes?" he says nervously.

    Lukas looks at here weirdly. "Wh-wh-what do you mean?"

    "I-is there good gruel h-h-here?"

    "Y-y-yeah. B-but now I'm h-hungry." He rubs his stomach to emphasize this point.

    "Oh. S-sorry." Lukas says. "You can go b-b-back to sleep."

    A boulder smashes right in front of the group of four, kicking rocks up in their faces, but they remain relatively unharmed as the winds and lightning beats against them.

    Lukas blinks his eyes open, brushing some of Aventine's hair out of his face. "A-a-aventine? Are you up?"

    The Gambler growled as Jaksyn disappeared below the ground. For a bit he tried to fight against the winds, but soon enough he was blown backwards and had to leave to find shelter. He would return to the hunt once the storm passed...

    He shivers, then relaxes, and quickly falls asleep, hugging her back, his face calm. His breathing is slow and even as he cuddles up against her body.

    "C-can I sleep in here?" He said, "I-i-it's scary in m-my room and she'll g-g-get me."

    The kid, Lukas, didn't know quite what was going on, but he started rocking along with her.

    "N-n-nice to meet you too, Avent-t-tine."

    The kid thought for a bit. "Y-y-yeah. That's good." He said. He leaned into Aventine's side, having started to hold her with his two small arms, like he never wanted to let her go.

    The kid nods vigorously, looking her in the eyes, for just a bit longer than he had before.

    "C-c-can you?" the kid says quietly, as if he's scared he'll say something wrong.

    He stiffens when she first touches him, then relaxes when she doesn't do anything to hurt him. "H-h-hi."

    The kid keeps looking down, but nods. He sits down on the bed, still picking at the scar.

    "I-I-I don't want to. Sh-she'll come. She'll get m-me. I-I-I know it."

    "The S-s-seizer" The kid said, fear in his eyes. "I-I-I ran but she g-g-got me."

    The kid looks up at her, brow furrowed. "Sh-sh-she got you t-too?" he said. "H-how'd you g-g-get away?"
