    Alderic exits the aircraft, dressed in his traditional military attire, a suit of thick glowing black and purple armor.

    The frost doesn't spread nor melt. "You just need the right incantation, putting your palm up against the statue. Or we could wait a few hours. Or days. Depending on... stuff."

    Kaleb shrugged. “Demonstration…” he pulls out a crystal and throws it at Aki. Immediately a film of whiteish blue frost forms over her, freezing her in place. ”That demonstration enough?”

    Kaleb steps back. "Uh... yes? Enough? No. They're holy items blessed by the Lord of the Moon."

    "Uh... magic. You just toss a crystal," he holds up a small brown pouch, "And it'll spread a layer of super-strong frost over the thing, immobilizing it for a pretty long time."

    "Bye..." Twain said, awkwardly staring at the empty space that she had been in. He smiled. A hero. A revolution. Yeah...

    He checks his watch. "Technically I'm on duty in three minutes."

    "I will." He grins, bumping her fist. "See ya in a better world."

    They launch, flying away from the HQ and towards the base. ”Permission to land? I have the family of a tribute on board, here to help.” Alderic radios in.

    “Yeah.” He finishes up his sandwich, smiling. “Well… thanks for the talk.”

    He led her towards a flying machine. ”Pray they don’t shoot us out of the skies…” he says as they board.

    “I know. I’ll do that. I know a place… some people… this… it could work.”

    “There’s a battle going on. I’m taking your children somewhere safer. You can come too. Or you can help with the fight.”

    “I… I’ll try. Probably will die in the process, but… things will happen afterwards hopefully.”

    Twain looked at her. “A hero… that… that does sound nice. I could… yeah… I could do that, really, couldn’t I?”

    Alderic listened to a report, then immediately went to Mare’s family. ”I need to escort you somewhere new. Safer.”
