  2. "I was just trying to exorcise the sun demon from you! I didn't realize without it you would DIE!"
  3. "Okay. Um... can we talk?" No. You cannot. Stop, idiot mortal. "I mean... uh... never mind." The last few words sounded forced, reluctant.
  4. No. The boyyy, the elder one is awaaaaake... "I thought I heard voices..."
  5. You are here to apologize, and to visit your brothersss... A voice whispers in the back of his mind. "I-" He looks down. "I'm here to apologize. And visit my brothers."
  6. "G-g-good job your f-f-friend." --- The boy left his room. He couldn't see Sunny. Who cared. She would probably die anyway. He walked down the hallway to Aventine's room, and knocked on her door. --- A nurse walked in, and Delphi jumped. "This woman was hurt. I just brought her down here to rest and recover. We'll be out in a few hours, tops, I promise." She said quietly, trying not to wake Sunny.
  7. He smiles. "My twin is lit-t-ttler than me. That's f-f-funny."
  8. "That's good... " He says softly. "I love you mom..."
  9. Kaleb feels bad. He feared his exorcism had gone horribly wrong. He quietly pulled out the golden-red crystal, and placed it on Nick's forehead. "Enter this host, demon of the sun." He muttered, hoping it would work. He said a few strange incantations, and a film of hot, humid air spread over Nick as the power left the crystal, reentering his body and suit, melting the ice.
  10. There was a soft thud outside. The edges of Delphi's vision started filling with green clouds. Not now. Please. The clouds spread, covering her entire vision, and she fell into a vision. The world was burning in emerald green flames. Sand whipped across her skin, leaving it raw and sore. She heard screaming, and saw green lighting flash in the sky. Bones littered the ground. Flash. She stood in the middle of a sandstorm. A hundred feet off she could see a short silhouette, like that of a child. His eyes glowed as people fell around him. Flash. She was closer now, and she could see corpses, brutally deformed by the sand, lying at the feet of the boy. Some she recognized. Aventine. Pic. Sunny. Gemini. Bile rose in the back of her throat. She looked up, but still couldn't place the person. Flash. The person's back is to her. He stands on a pile of burned bodies, reveling in the destruction, enjoying it. Delphi walks around him to see his face, expecting to see the boy, the one who took in a spirit. When she sees Lukas's face, she screams in horror. He grins, a terrifying smile, then stabs her in the chest. She sits upright in her chair, in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. Her hand still rests on Sunny, drawing away pain. --- In Aventine's room, Lukas wakes up. "M-m-mom, are you h-h-h-h-here?" He says softly, squinting in the light.
  11. Delphi smiled, just slightly. She kept her hand on Sunny, keeping her magic going as Sunny rested. With her other hand she fortified the doors, sealing them from her brother. In the deep areas of her mind, the power of the Oracle stirred. Not now. Please, not now.
  12. Socks and sandals: y/n If you shower do you turn it on before or after you get in
  13. Delphi leaned back, inhaling quietly. She closed her eyes, putting a hand on Sunny's forehead, using her magic to transfer some of the pain to herself.
  14. "Good." Delphi said softly, gently stroking loose hairs out of Sunny's face. "You'll need rest, a few hours at least. I'll protect you from the boy while you sleep."
  15. Delphi gently wiped the blood away, laying her on an infirmary bed. She pulls out a blue liquid from her belt, and the next time the librarian tries to breath in, she pours in into her mouth, making her inhale it. "Don't cough this up, if you can. It will burn, but it will help you heal." She says softly.
  16. Kaleb jerks awake, seeing Nick. He didn't know what to do. So he did the one thing he knew how to do: He froze Nick. It would at least keep him alive until he could figure out something else.
  17. Delphi approached, eyes attentive. She glanced at the door, then down at the librarian. She gently, silently picked her up, walking to the infirmary. So let it be written. So let it be done.
  18. Punishment. Yes. She was one of those roadblocks to happiness. She would have to be removed.
  19. He ignored the yelp. She deserved that. Her joy could only come after punishment.
  20. "Food and happiness aren't the same thing. Now, I wish you to leave." At that word, the boy's eyes flash, and a strong, humid wind blows her out the door, slamming it shut. He slid the bolt, locking the door so she couldn't get back in.
  21. Kaleb waits silently until he hears Nick's breathing steadying. Then he crawls over. He looks around nervously, a slew of dark memories flowing in his mind. He shakes his head, dispelling them as he pulls out one of his crystals and places it on Nick's forehead. He puts both his thumbs on the crystal, pushing it gently. It begins to melt away as a thin layer of frost, even thinner than that put on the rock or on Aki. The frost begins pulsing inwards, towards Kaleb's thumbs, as waves of golden light. He starts muttering words under his breath, not English words though. "Demon of the sun, depart." He commands. There is a flash of light and the frost pulls in, forming back into a crystal, but not the same blue crystal. It forms into one pulsing golden-red. Good. Kaleb thought. His exorcism would have drawn all the energy from Nick and his haunted clothes, pulling away the Sun Demon. He'd probably get a cold, but that was the price you paid for getting un-possessed. Kaleb yawned, laying down, and immediately starting snoring like a dying elk.
