Adolin! I posed my theory somewhere lol

Ive read all his books. The fact that hoid was there by the shattering doesn’t mean hes not adolnasium- lets assume adolnasium knew of there plans and then created hoid to be part of them at his shattering, acting as a deep agent.

Ok totally random thought and probably spoken about before but i personally think that Hoid is really like an avatar/ cognitive shadow, or whatever you wanna call it- but hes really adolnasium. hes the defense fallback that adolnasium created in case he gets splintered, and he integrated with everyone knowing they would shatter his actual self but needing to be a part of it so he can fix the inevitable outcome. thats why he goes from world to world, I king up little pieces of power from each one in the hopes of reuniting them all. all thoughts appreciated

Ok so random thought just wanna put it out and hear your thoughts… so i mentioned in another post that i believe adolin will die in stormlight 5 by giving his life essence to maya and making her back alive- as we see he already gave her some of his…. Life essence or whatever you wanna call it- read the part where theyre all in shadesmare carefully and you’ll see what i mean… this will leave maya alive but to who should she bond?!?! aux had the opposite here where he gave up his life essence to save the one who bonded him so it’ll be super super cool if those two find their way to each other!!!

Szeth hasn’t really been a main character in regards to a growth arc neither rock or rlain so their impact by dying wouldn’t be such a game changer… As to venli i hear more but I feel she’s too important in the plot to let her die- she’s the proof that even “evil” parshendi can be good and that the “original gods” have forgiven them like leshwi said and in regards to adolin read the part where he’s in shadesmare- it seems like he’s giving her his own strength… not sure though… read it again and try to see what i mean

So being that every book has someone dying who’s it gonna be in the 5th? its hard to explain the whole thought process, but its gotta be one of the main characters- cause that’s just what Brandon does lol… kills someone to prove the point of the book mistborn spoiler alert: so kaladin, dalinar, navani, renarin, adolin, shallan…. cant be kaladin cause his whole arc was about learning to live- obvious not. dalinar- he’s becoming more of staple power in the world and it just wont fit his arc for him to die- too obvious and cliche so that’s a no! shallan- also a no cause her arc is about living with the past and not running away from it and dying would be the ultimate hiding from her past. renarin uh uh- he’s way too important now and essential to the plot plus we haven’t really seen his viewpoint on his personal struggles so it wouldn’t make sense to kill him. which leaves navani and adolin… navani is super important to dalinar so her death would be a huge impact plus she’s bonded to the tower which is interesting in her own right so just some food for thought too explore that idea… but adolin is a for sure death!! My theory is that he’s going to sacrifice himself to somehow Restore his Spren maya back from being a deadeyes- he’s the only one in history who has brought some sentience to his spren and he did this by giving her something from himself (go read those chapters you’ll see what i mean) and his arc is about how he doesn’t know his place… by giving up his life for maya he will find himself plus bring her to life… also notice that he’s more attached to maya than anything else- even shallan- pay attention to how he talks to her and the care he has for her… all in all just some food for thought lemme hear what you guys think!!!!

Interesting question but i lean towards no because the only reason we know that there’s even a concept called flying is cause we see it all the time. So fish who cant see that- i say that they dont even have the concept. so to answer your question- nope!

Besides for the obvious answer of steelheart invincibility… what in your opinion is the most convenient epic power that you would get if you had the chance and why would you choose it?

Interesting point and to counter that i think that if thats so why would he need to sacrifice himself… if its all about that he isn’t needed then he can pack up and go… plus there are always those people that society doesn’t look out for and for those he will always need to be around

So to be fair I’ll answer in the only way we humans can actually fly and thats through our emotions- when due to our emotion’s we’re “flying high” The truth is that usually what makes us “feel down” is when we get into our own heads and are too hard on ourselves about things. When we let go and are willing to forgive and live with ourselves is when we feel like we’re “flying high” It’s those moments when we’re happy with who we are and aren’t bothered by what others may think about us and particularly we aren’t bothered by what “WE THINK OF OURSELVES” those moments are what cause us to soar!!

I totally agree and thats kinda the point I’m trying to make here… that the 5th ideal is about kaladin surviving when he wants to sacrifice himself because deep down he understands that its what the people need most of him- TO SURVIVE!!

My idea with this is just that i want to discuss anything with anyone- try a topic that is thought- provoking or anything similar
